Pagoda Thien Mu: questa è la pagoda più antica della città di Hue. È uno dei luoghi più suggestivi e pittoreschi dell’ex capitale imperiale.
Notoriamente uno dei sette siti patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO del Vietnam, la Cittadella è stata a lungo un'attrazione imperdibile per i turisti che visitano il fascino nascosto del Vietnam. La città imperiale di Hue era in realtà una fortezza fortificata e un palazzo appartenuto all'antica città di Hue, capitale della dinastia Nguyen per 140 anni, dal 1805 al 1945.
La Tomba Imperiale dell'Imperatore Tu Duc è un complesso architettonico che si estende su 12 ettari di superficie e al suo interno possiamo trovare 50 edifici tra palazzi e padiglioni. Per costruire la Tomba Imperiale ci sono voluti 3 anni e la tomba imperiale di Hue si fonde al meglio con la natura che la circonda.
Rispetto a quelle dell’imperatore precedente, la tomba di Khai Dinh King è molto più piccola in superficie ma è molto elaborata. È il risultato della mescolanza di molte tendenze architettoniche: europea e asiatica, così come antica e moderna.
Tomba del re Minh Mang: Minh Mang è il 2° re della dinastia Nguyen. La sua tomba è un complesso architettonico standard composto da 40 costruzioni (palazzi, templi, padiglioni, ecc.) Progettati su un asse simmetrico che va dalla porta Dai Hong ai piedi di La Thanh (muro di cinta) dietro la tomba dell'Imperatore.
Un palazzo Dinh dove l'imperatore Khai Dinh visse da bambino fino a diventare il dodicesimo imperatore della dinastia Nguyen come residenza privata.Tra il 1917-1919 Nguyen Phuc Vinh Thuy (poi imperatore Bao Dai) fu ristrutturato in stile moderno e divenne ufficialmente la residenza.
Pagoda Tu Hieu conosciuta come la famosa “pagada radice” del maestro zen Thích Nhất Hạnh, Pagoda Từ Hiếu non è solo un luogo per i monaci per condurre una vita di risveglio, ma anche per chiunque desideri trovare un rifugio sereno per fuggire dalla vita frenetica o per imparare la meditazione

I contacted the company ahead of time to ask about an airport pickup, and they arranged it for a very reasonable price. The driver was waiting for us when we arrived. The next morning, our tour guide picked us up exactly at the agreed time and took us to all the places we had discussed beforehand. I would recommend this company if you want to explore specific sights in Hue.

An excellent and professional company to deal with! For our day tour, I WhatsApp'ed them the places we were interested in seeing and they very quickly came back with a very reasonable price for a private tour starting with a dragon boat trip along the Perfume River to Thien Mi Pagoda on to Khai Dinh Tomb, Tu Duc Tomb and Minh Mang Tomb. Our guide for the day -Duy - was brilliant! He had so much knowledge to share on each location, but also added in little stops at the incense village and a local coffee shop (for delicious salted coffee) that weren't a scheduled part of the tour and gave us some local restaurant recommendations too. I'd highly recommend Hue Friendly Cars and Duy if in the area
We did a hoi an a hue excursion, our driver was called Hai, he was a lovely person, he drove very well and stopped us at all the places we asked him. I would repeat without hesitation. Not only was the transfer from Hoi an to Hue but we saw the mountains of marble the Buddha lady and the tombs of Hue, Hai explained many things to us in the car and gave us good advice, plus as he saw that he did not understand well in English I use the translator so that I could better understand his explanations , it is a driver who I score with a 10 .
We had a great time on our taxi tour of Hue. Our driver was very good—he was friendly and professional, spoke very good English, and shared interesting details about the city and its culture. He was very thoughtful, always having cold water ready for us after we finished each stop. We really appreciated his service and would recommend this company to anyone visiting Hue.
We met Tommy by chance at the train station, and it turned out to be the best decision we made. He took us to all the places we wanted to see and waited patiently while we explored. During lunchtime, he recommended a cozy local spot that served tasty traditional dishes, and we really enjoyed the meal. Friendly, polite, and very funny! A must-have guide for your Hue visit.
