Incontra la tua guida nella hall dell'hotel alle 9:00 e inizia il tour con una visita alla Jama Masjid (letteralmente Moschea del Venerdì), conosciuta anche come Moschea Jumah o Jami' Masjid, è una moschea ad Ahmedabad, costruita nel 1424 durante il regno di Ahmad Shah I. L'iscrizione sul mihrab centrale commemora l'inaugurazione della moschea il 1° Safar AH 827 o 4 gennaio 1424 d.C. da parte del sultano Ahmad Shah I.
Quindi visita la Moschea di Siddi Siyed come una delle moschee più famose di Ahmedabad costruita nel 1573. Fu costruita da Sidi Saiyyed, un abissino al seguito di Bilal Jhajar Khan, un generale dell'esercito dell'ultimo sultano Shams-ud-Din Muzaffar Scià III del Sultanato del Gujarat
Visita Gandhi Ashram (Sabarmati Ashram), che si trova nel sobborgo Sabarmati di Ahmedabad sulle rive del fiume Sabarmati. Questa era una delle residenze di Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, generalmente noto come Mahatma Gandhi, che visse qui per circa dodici anni insieme a sua moglie Kasturba Gandhi. Vedrai anche alcune attrazioni dell'Ashram, come Magan Niwas, Upasana Mandir (Prathana Bhoomi) e Hriday Kunj.
Da qui viaggia verso il tempio Hathee Singh Jain. La costruzione del tempio fu originariamente iniziata da Shet Hathisinh Kesarisinh, un ricco commerciante di Ahmedabad. La costruzione fu supervisionata e completata da sua moglie Shethani Harkunvar dopo la sua morte.
Fai una sosta al famoso ristorante (Own Expense). Dopo pranzo, prosegui per Adalaj Stepwell per vedere l'unico "edificio dell'acqua" indù nel villaggio di Adalaj. Il pozzo a gradini profondo 5 piani fu costruito nel 1499 dal re musulmano Mohammed Begda per la regina Rani Roopba, moglie di Veer Singh, il capo Vaghela. I pozzi a gradini un tempo erano parte integrante delle regioni semiaride del Gujarat poiché fornivano il fabbisogno idrico di base per bere, lavarsi e fare il bagno. Questi pozzi erano anche luoghi di feste colorate e rituali sacri.
Visita il tempio di Akshardham, un complesso di templi Swaminarayan. Il complesso mostra millenni di cultura, spiritualità e architettura tradizionali indù e indiane. Torna nella hall dell'hotel con ricordi felici...!

The Heritage walk was a unique visit through old and New Ahmedabad. Our guide Norah was friendly, informative and knowledgeable. The Temples were beautiful structure and we stopped for munch at a unique Gujarati Talle restaurant. I would recommend this tour to anyone who visits Ahmedabad

No show! Booked the tour on their website and waited for them. Did not show up. Only 1 of the 3 numbers provided worked. Wanted me to wait an hour for them to find a guide / driver. Requested refund.
Dear Ma'am.. We understand that the booking was made right before 6 -8 hours to the departure of the tour.. unfortunately due to Network and technical errors the booking was not Landed. Thought we politely requested 45 mints and driver and guide was on thier way to pick up point.. However we respect and understand the decision of Guest.. the booking was made directly on website not through Viator and trip advisor. The Amount paid is on hold with PayPal and yet not received in our account as you already placed a hold on the payment.. Mam I have already written to Paypal to remove the hold and revert the money back to you.. sharing the screenshot of the same on your email and Contact number. Mam we understand that the services could not meet on expected time.. And we regret the inconvenience caused . We have requested paypal to process the refund.. Regards Neha
Very poor. The guide did not speak a word of English and didn’t explain any of the sites we visited and didn’t even try to, using google translate for example. We visited a mixture of temples and mosques but with no guidance we could not understand the history or culture of any of it. The overall day cost £240 for two people which in our eyes is far too expensive for what we received. No water or lunch provided …
Ahmadabad was a good stay. There were too many places to visit. The best of the lot was the Akshardham temple and its laser show which was awesome one would not miss the same. It has some fun rides for the kids too. All in all a good place to visit with family including kids has something for everyone.
