One of the most beautiful and scenic boat rides I have been on. Amazing view displaying both the pidurangala and Sigiriya rock. We chose to do the evening ride and the weather was nice and cool. Good naturalist with an amazing knowledge of birds as we saw many. The lake had just filled after the rains and therefore there weren’t many lotuses. We were also served tea and snacks on the boat which was a nice surprise. I have also booked the Pidurangala rock climbing activity with the same operator and hope that it is equally good!
My recent boat ride to view Sigiriya and Pidurangala Rocks in Sri Lanka was absolutely breathtaking. Guided by a knowledgeable local villager and a naturalist, the journey was a perfect blend of history, nature, and serenity. The boat ride allowed us one of the best views of Sigiriya and Pidurangala rocks. The company organizing the boatride also has a lovely campsite where they arrange breakfast or dinner if required. An unforgettable adventure that I highly recommend! ✨
