Very peaceful and relaxing. Ahmed Saied was super helpful and prompt in meeting us and facilitating the sunset felucca ride. He told us a bunch of facts and made for a great ride.

The operator cancelled the tour 30 minutes before due to weather. After repeated attempts to get a refund, they have ignored my requests every time. I do not recommend this.
Not good. We had to take a few boats to get to the feluca boat. When we got there, he did not even use the feluca sail, the boat was closed up, and we only spent 1/2 hour when it was supposed to be 1 hour. If you just find a felucca when you arrive in Aswan instead of booking ahead, you can get it for 1/5th of the price than booking on viator.

First, reaching the felucca sometimes involves short transfers depending on docking conditions in Aswan, which is normal and outside of our control. However, the felucca itself is an authentic sailing experience, and whether the sail is used depends on wind conditions for safety reasons—this is standard practice, not a service failure. Regarding the duration, our records show the activity was completed within the scheduled timeframe. If there was any misunderstanding on timing, we would have appreciated being contacted immediately so we could resolve it on the spot. As for pricing comparisons, booking through platforms like Viator includes verified service quality, organization, customer support, and safety assurances—this is very different from negotiating random services on arrival, which comes with its own risks and inconsistencies. We always aim to provide a smooth, reliable, and enjoyable experience, and it’s unfortunate this was not your perception. Nonetheless, we remain committed to improving and delivering the high standards most of our guests appreciate.

A great fun experience with our excellent guide Moataz Salah. Communication with Moataz was great. He contacted us directly on WhatsApp and picked us up from our Viking ship. The guys sailing the felucca were also great. We ended up with the boat to ourselves. Great value for the money. Nice way to end a day in Aswan!

The tour was well organized and the pickup was on time. The felucca ride at sunset was pleasant and everything went smoothly. However, the experience felt quite short (about one hour) and a bit rushed. Most of the time we stayed in front of the city of Aswan rather than sailing around the islands like Elephantine, which would have made the experience more special and authentic. It felt more like a simple boat ride than a real felucca sailing experience. Overall it was nice, but it felt like the minimum of what was offered.

This was supposed to be a Sunset Cruise. It was a warm, very windy day on the Nile, and the young gentleman who sailed the boat were excellent! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the sailing .experience; I was mesmerized watching them manage the rudder and the sails. They worked so hard and made the sailing experience incredible. Unfortunately though, we were told to meet at 4:00 p.m. for our cruise. Since the cruise was only an hour, we got back to our hotel an hour before sunset. So while we enjoyed the cruise and the experience, it wasn't exactly as advertised.

We had an absolutely amazing time on our sunset felucca ride in Aswan! A huge thank you to our fantastic guide, Moataz, who went above and beyond to make our trip seamless. He arranged a convenient boat pick-up and drop-off right at our hotel on the West Bank, which was incredibly helpful. The journey itself was deeply memorable; drifting along the water while taking in the mesmerizing views and calmness of the sunset was the highlight of our trip. Through Moataz's wonderful hospitality, we truly felt like family in a faraway land. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough
