La nostra guida autista ti preleverà dal tuo hotel o punto di raccolta desiderato nelle prime ore del mattino, poi guiderà a nord verso Watamu via Mombasa Malindi rd.I suoi 100 chilometri da Mombasa e ci vorranno circa un'ora e mezza per raggiungere watamu. Sulla tua strada potrai vedere diversi paesaggi e piantagioni lungo la strada. Verso le 9:30 del mattino arriviamo al parco marino Watamu. Il conducente ti consegnerà al capitano / guida che si accerterà che le tasse del parco marino siano pagate, e poi salirai su una barca in vetro decorato a 2 decorazioni, così potrai sdraiarsi sul ponte superiore e crogiolarsi al sole o semplicemente rilassarsi sul ponte inferiore e goditi la vita sottomarina mentre navighi verso il parco marino. La tua escursione inizierà con avvistamenti di delfini in cui il tuo capitano / guida ti condurrà nei punti caldi dove, secondo la sua esperienza, potrai vedere e nuotare con i delfini, ricorda che questo è per le anime avventurose. Una volta che i delfini smettono di muoversi, puoi indossare l'attrezzatura per lo snorkeling (da fornire a bordo) e saltare nell'oceano per poterti avvicinare con le gentili creature. Dopo il folle divertimento, salite di nuovo sulla barca di vetro e proseguite verso il parco marino. Le incontaminate spiagge di sabbia bianca e le lagune protette dalla barriera corallina delineano il Parco Marino e Riserve Naturali di Watamu, che sono le più antiche dell'Africa orientale e coprono oltre 229 kmq. È uno dei segreti meglio custoditi al mondo, con la sola Grande Barriera Corallina che ha una lista di specie più grande e che solo in una distesa molto più grande! Anche l'area marina protetta di Watamu è riconosciuta a livello internazionale come Riserva della Biosfera dall'UNESCO. Ciò significa che l'area è designata come sito di eccellenza naturale e dovrebbe dimostrare come le persone locali e l'ambiente possono coesistere attraverso un'attenta gestione delle risorse naturali e delle risorse umane. Il Parco Marino e Riserva è rinomata in tutto il mondo per la sua bellezza naturale e vanta una ricca vita marina. È praticamente impossibile fare snorkeling senza vedere almeno alcune dozzine di specie all'interno del reef principale; i subacquei al di fuori della barriera corallina hanno un'eccellente possibilità di vedere il magnifico squalo balena e i raggi di manta che sono visitatori stagionali. Alcuni dei pesci più comunemente visti includono naturalmente il pesce pappagallo, la cui digestione delle barriere coralline nel corso dei millenni, ha prodotto la spiaggia di sabbia bianca stessa. Angelfish, cernie, pesciolini, pesci leone e dentici sono solo una manciata delle specie facilmente visibili all'interno di questo superbo mondo acquatico dai colori vivaci. Uno dei migliori percorsi che il capitano seguirà in questa esplorazione è una dolce crociera verso il Larder a Turtle Bay. Dirigiti tra le due isole rocciose direttamente a sud del quartier generale della Blue Bay di KWS. Mentre la barca di vetro galleggia dolcemente sul corallo eroso sporgenze, ci sono numerosi pesci donzella, giovane farfalla e pesci angelo, murene, cernie e polpi. Attraverso il passaggio delle alghe marine troverai raggi blu macchiati, triglie e dentici. Una volta arrivati al limite dell'area erbosa, a circa 100 metri fuori, girare a destra e seguire il bordo del prato lungo la sua linea di contorno. Dopo circa 100 metri troverai la dispensa alla tua sinistra; una serie di 6 o così grandi teste di corallo che ospitano centinaia di sweetlips, snapper e pesci batteristi. Troverai anche pesci leone e pesci coccodrillo se guardi da vicino. Un altro bonus qui sono i grandi barracuda che si aggirano vicino al fondo del mare in grandi gruppi. Sono mangiatori notturni e dormono durante il giorno, quindi sono facili da avvicinare. C'è un litorale eccezionale con Watamu votato come una delle dieci migliori spiagge del mondo; immerso nella fauna e nella flora naturali e con tre splendide baie, Watamu, Blue Lagoon e Turtle Bay. Qui ti sarà anche permesso di entrare nell'oceano per fare snorkeling e immersioni poco profonde nel fondale oceanico per vedere le magnifiche grotte di corallo nascoste sotto l'acqua blu. Approfitta della possibilità di nuotare e toccare centinaia di scuole di pesci e tartarughe Dopo lo snorkeling, la prossima tappa sarà una meravigliosa spiaggia di sabbia bianca con acque cristalline dove potrai scendere per una nuotata in acque magiche per un po '. prima di tornare alla barca e salpare per l'isola di Sudi godendosi le rigogliose mangrovie verdi lungo il lato del torrente. Verso le 13:00 arriveremo sull'isola di Sudi, dove riceverai un caloroso benvenuto nell'isola seguita da un piccolo intrattenimento da parte dei nativi. Il capitano e il suo equipaggio inizieranno quindi rapidamente a prepararsi per il barbecue e serviranno frutti di mare freschi e deliziosi con varietà come; aragoste, pesci reali, baracuda e granchi ecc. (il pollo è disponibile per questi che non mangiano pesce) .. Dopo pranzo puoi scegliere di fare un giro in canoa nella foresta di mangrovie sull'isola con una guida e imparare un po 'di storia dell'isola e delle creature che si trovano lì Per coloro che scelgono di rimanere sull'isola possono cogliere l'occasione per nuotare sulle sponde dell'isola o semplicemente prendere il sole e scattare foto. Prenditi un po 'di tempo e immortala i tuoi ultimi momenti sulle spiagge sabbiose. Goditi i tuoi ultimi momenti sull'isola e il suo ambiente. The pursuit of poor dolphins is shameful, surrounded by 4 or 5 boats. Then, no corals but a few small fish with dozens of tourists on a single "spot" very poor when you know other places like sharm el sheikh, port cros, Noumea... Mida creek on the other hand is worth it, beautiful. Given the poverty of the unique snorkling venue, the marine park protects nothing, just controls that we don't have plastic bottles and cashes in fees. From the beach, there's nothing underwater.
Not very fan, diving did not allow us to see very little fish many seaweed. The mangrove can be seen from the boat. The best was the meal on the island and the atmosphere on the boat.
Don't book any type of trip with this thieves they took my money and didn't take me on a trip, they didn't refund me and it has been weeks.

If you’re looking for an incredible day out, look elsewhere. We felt very underwhelmed by several factors of this excursion. The communication and pickup was faultless. Very friendly, kind and accommodating. We are easy going, as were the hosts of this tour. Once we arrived to the boat location, we boarded a very busy boat. We were then chaperoned to de-board and get on a different boat for some unknown reason. Which brings me onto one of the largely unfavorable parts of this tour. Which is that (perhaps we got unlucky?) but no one would speak English to us, or let us know what was going on throughout the day. The primary language spoken appeared to be Italian, which is great! However, we were left behind, as we do not speak Italian. My partner and I are early thirties, and we’re a very friendly and outgoing couple. We invited conversion so many times with numerous people but it was not well recieved, and very short lived. The tour as a whole felt very Italy-centric, which again, is not a criticism, but it felt disappointing to be left behind as the only English speakers on board. Throughout the day, there were numerous interruptions and delays, which were considerably extended. I’m not just talking a few minutes, perhaps 30-45 minutes at a time. Which would prompt us to ask what was the hold up in the nicest way possible. The tour itself consisted of a really quite random and slow zig-zag boat ride across to the mangroves. This was another thing that felt as though it was done in an effort to kill time and make the day last a full day. This was the first part of the day, and definitely did not set things off well. Once arrived in the mangroves area, we take a steady cruise deeper into the mangroves, seeing very few wildlife, perhaps a few birds, to make a u-turn back the way we came in to exit the mangroves. Following that, a 30 minute stop in shallow waters to take a dip, this was nice. The general atmosphere on the boat, was dry, and left ALLOT to be desired. We felt the other passengers were feeling it too. But this really stems from poor coordination and control from those who are running the tour. Which brings me onto how the tour is run. It appears upon booking you are allocated a “tour guide” per group or per booking. And on the boat and through the day, that person stays with you making sure you don’t get lost. Perhaps we got unlucky… Our tour guide was very lovely and a sweet person, but barely guided us, as we kept having to ask time and time again, what is going on, where are we going next. What’s happening. Which became a drag. The other groups on the same tour as us, appeared to have better luck, as there were guides on the boat who were very active and engaging with their groups, albeit in Italian, which sadly we do not speak. We stopped to have lunch on Waka waka island. This was lovely. The food was excellent, the locals very friendly, all round the highlight of the day. Some dancing with the locals. Plenty of food to go around, fruit, and beverages. The canoeing part of the excursion was completely cancelled for unknown reasons. All was told to us is “there is no time”. Which is baffling when the entire day, the passengers including ourselves had been patiently waiting for things to happen, and everyone had generally been prompt with following instructions. Lastly, the snorkeling, arguably the most important part of the day, was borderline dangerous. They take you way out of the cover of the land, close to where the sea merges with the back waters, and drop anchor. The currents in the water were incredibly strong, quite literally drifting you away at quite a pace from the boat. If you are not a strong swimmer. This is an absolute no go for you. And even if you are, you need stamina to get back to the boat. There were a couple of times within our group where tourists cried for help for buoyancy aids, as the undercurrents of the sea had overwhelmed them. It was risky, and I really think this should not be conducted when the sea state is as unstable as it was, or perhaps there should be an alternative more covered spot for this activity to take place, or the entire tour to be rescheduled. Overall, we were left feeling underwhelmed, and bored. It’s sad to say it but that’s our truth! If you decide to go on this trip. I hope you have a better experience than we did.
Originally scheduled to arrive at Ocean Park was 9:30 a.m., actually 10:08 before the boat departs, waiting for more than an hour. Originally intended for a maximum of six people per boat, actually made 18 people on board. It was intended to ride a double-layered glass boat, in fact there is no, so there is no underwater view. The delphin tour was scheduled to be canceled. It was supposed to have a bottle of water, actually did not give me, but the regulation can not bring bottle of water, hurt me not drinking water all day. There was originally planned to change the canoe to see the red forest, there is actually no canoe. It was originally scheduled to return at 4:30 p.m., and actually returned at 3:00 p.m., and the journey began late and ended early.
We actually booked the tour because of the snorkeling, the reef is supposed to be impressive. When we got on the boat we were told that we wouldn't see the dolphins because of the change in the tides. When we got to the reef the sea was so stormy that we couldn't see the reef or the fish. During lunch, guests joined us who went snorkeling after eating. They were called at exactly the same time as we were snorkeling, but weren't informed about the situation. After the tour we contacted the organizer. They apologized and said they were surprised by the change in the weather. Which in our view is an excuse. We think they should have informed us before the tour, then we could have decided again. After all, 630 Swiss francs isn't a small sum... The transfer from Mombasa went perfectly, the food was good and the canoe trip through the mangrove forest was also nice...at least a positive ending...
Wonderful experience. We had an amazing driver Jimmy who was very friendly and funny. A great companion on the road. Even though we weren't able to see the dolphins due to high waves and raining season it was still a wonderful experience, worth it!
Such an amazing trip- great guides. Lots of dolphins. We did have weather on our side but the guides were amazing Derrick and Jim were so insightful and kept us comfortable.
