Il nostro ospite nel bellissimo villaggio di Karuc è pittore, quindi otterrai il lato artistico del nostro paese. Il bel giro in questo lato del lago di Scutari è qualcosa di indimenticabile. Natura lenta e selvaggia. Per finire lasciamo la degustazione del vino con 6 tipi di vino, 8 liquori e 5 grappe. Devi essere sentito parlare di questo posto, uno dei punti panoramici più belli da cui il lago sembra un fiordo.
Il lago è noto per la sua straordinaria bellezza naturale, con acqua cristallina, vegetazione lussureggiante e un'abbondanza di fauna selvatica, tra cui oltre 260 specie di uccelli, molte delle quali rare o in via di estinzione. Il lago ospita anche numerose specie di pesci, tra cui la carpa endemica del lago di Scutari. Questo giro in barca di solito rende gli ospiti trillati e felici.
Karuc è un piccolo villaggio di pescatori situato in una regione del lago di Scutari. Mentre stiamo attraversando le strade strette e strangoliamo per non graffiare un'auto, all'improvviso arriverai al punto perché ne è valsa la pena. Il punto di vista mozzafiato sul villaggio e sul lago scintillante in una combinazione di regione carsica offre un'immagine unica. Non c'è da stupirsi perché i film cult, come "Unseen miracle", siano stati girati proprio qui. Il nostro principe vescovo sceglie questo posto anche per casa di vacanza durante il periodo invernale. Incontreremo il nostro ospite che è un pittore. Conserverai uno spirito del luogo diverso da questo locale poiché la sua narrazione è fatta attraverso gli occhi di un artista. Al fine di ottenere la migliore esperienza proverai i nostri piatti locali con un bicchiere di vino. Opzionalmente puoi fare un giro in barca di un'ora in questa parte del lago e, a seconda del livello dell'acqua, vedrai la nostra Amazzonia o le "mani" del lago, come lo chiamiamo. Questa è una delle parti più belle e meno conosciute del parco nazionale del lago di Scutari.
Incontreremo una famiglia straordinaria con una piccola cantina boutique dove proveremo 6 tipi di vino, 8 tipi di liquori e 5 brandy. Tutti i nostri ospiti si innamorano di questo luogo e di una vibrazione di questa bellissima cantina. Questa famiglia lo fa solo perché questa è la loro passione e si sente davvero.
Sulla via del ritorno a Podgorica avrai anche l'opportunità di visitare le Cascate del Niagara, ma ovviamente in versione ridotta :-) . In estate di solito questi autunni sono asciutti.

We did a group tour and especially enjoyed the boat ride and lunch in a small village by the lake. The fish was excellent and fresh. After this, we were welcomed by the family in the winery, where we really enjoyed the products.
Great boat ride and unforgettable wine. Family we visited is so kind and we had a feeling like we are part of family. Wine is really great especially the red , so so tasty. Must do this tour really something special.
Where do I start?! Tanja and Igor were both fantastic! Tanja contacted me prior to the tour via whatsapp to confirm food and timings. As I follow a vegan diet she arranged the most incredible lunch for me and my friend. The tour was so personal, Tanja was giving us her authentic experiences of Montenegro - which is so important when visiting another country and soaking up another culture. And as a bonus, she's hilarous too! So much to learn from her. And Igor equally - we went to Igors house on Skadar lake and had some fresh springwater - it was incredible to see the house he's building from scratch, and where he lives is just a little piece of heaven! The tour started with visiting the fortress, then the gorgeous boat tour (where we saw so many birds, busha cows etc) then a stop off at igors house, before the viewpoints of skadar lake, when off to wine tasting which was fantastic - we bought some to take home too! This is also where we had the vegan lunch. Setting was gorgeous, weather was incredible - very wholesome feel to this tour. And final stop was cijevna waterfall - the colour of the water was insane! (I have a highlight story on instagram of this tour if you'd find it useful @lifeofpa._ ) Tanja will take you to the non-touristic rural parts of montenegro - if you're looking for a tour to book, please don't just do straight to kotor as podgoricia is a hidden gem in itself - and Tanja is certainly the best person to show you around! We couldn't have had a better time with her, our trip even ended in hugs! Thank you Tanja and Igor! Xx

My friends from Budapest visited Montenegro and I wanted to show them some of the beautiful places which this country offers. We decided to choose Amazon tour with Tanja...we had such a luck :) name of the tour said it all! We have visited some hidden places of the Skadar lake which looked like Amazon entirelly. It was a true hedonist weekend tour, we arranged swimming on the lake, on the so-called “Eye of the lake” where you can feel cold springs down deep in the lake, and afterwards we had a lunch with fresh fish from the lake and excellent wine with local host. We trully enjoyed and experinced completelly all the beauty of Skadar lake. Thank you Tanja for brining us so much joy on our vacation :)

I was visiting Montenegro with a friend in August. We did traveling around the country ourselves, but also wanted to join a guided and I am so happy we found Tanja & Montenegro Wonders. Tour was called Piece of history, and our whole day with guide Tanja was filled with stories about the past and today, we visited very interesting sights (Cetince, Lovcen, Skadar Lake & Karuc) and enjoyed the most beautiful and breathtaking views during our car ride and boat tour on Skadar Lake. We also had delicious lunch in Karuc (fresh fish, incl. in price). Tanja is such a charming and heartfelt personality, she does her work with great passion - warmly recommend taking a tour with her. I hope I´ll be able to join another Montenegro Wonders -tour one day.
This time I participated in Beauty of our coast and Piece of history . The tour also showcases famous tourist destinations such as Kotor and Cetinje, but I think the best part is that it showcases the beauty of Montenegro that only locals know. Also, my guide Tanja's desire to introduce his favorite charms of Montenegro was conveyed to me, and it made me glad I came to Montenegro to travel and want to visit again.
Searching the internet for news about Montenegro I found this site and thought that taking a day trip with an experienced guide would be a good idea. I must confess that the trip was far above my expectations, Tanja was an incredible person, kind right from the first email where she advised me how to organize in the 3 days of our stay and what ride to do with her to make the most of our trip. Punctual, smiling, very knowledgeable about her country, she took us to visit villages rich in history and beautiful landscapes. In addition, the day ended with a wonderful ride in the lake and a dinner with fresh fish at a local fisherman. Experienced driver owns a huge and very comfortable car, with wifi that allowed us to phone Italy to solve a serious family problem. If you go to Montenegro, let Tanja advise you and enjoy a relaxing day relying on her experience and sympathy.
