Questo tour di una giornata privata ti porta a visitare sia le dimore della grotta di Guyaju che la gola di Longqingxia a Pechino. Sarete in grado di vedere 174 incredibili caverne a Guyaju, che secondo come riferito sono state scolpite da una minoranza etnica chiamata Xiyi durante la dinastia Tang (618-907 d.C.). Dopo il prelievo mattutino presso il tuo hotel di Pechino, viaggia in un veicolo privato verso la gola di Longqing (gola di Longqingxia), situata a circa 55 miglia (90 km) a nord del centro di Pechino. Fiancheggiata su entrambi i lati da verdi cime e ricoperta a nord dal bacino idrico di Gucheng, costruito nel 1981, la gola offre uno scenario pacifico ma drammatico di montagne boscose, pietre curiose e grotte carsiche. Durante una crociera di 1,5 ore attraverso il burrone, senti la leggera brezza che soffia sul tuo viso e goditi la vista di attrazioni di passaggio come la grotta Baihua (cento fiori) e i templi Shenxianyuan (immortale) e Jingang.
Dopo il giro in barca mattutino, goditi un pranzo a base di piatti regionali presso la casa di un famer. Prosegui per le grotte di Guyaju, un complesso multi-villaggio di oltre 170 abitazioni scavate direttamente nella parete rocciosa. Creduto di essere stato scolpito da una minoranza etnica chiamata Xiyi tra le dinastie Tang e Liao, le straordinarie grotte assomigliano a "fattorie di formiche per gli esseri umani" e sono costituite da stanze di forme e stili diversi complete di porte, finestre, cucine e armadi. Al termine del tour di un'intera giornata, verrai ricondotto al tuo hotel nel centro di Pechino.

Jeffrey and his driver picked us up and took us on amazing tour of Longqingxia. The river cruise through the gorge was unbelievable. Lunch was amazing. Some of the best food we have had in China. Jeffrey picked all the dishes and made a far better choice than we would have. Last stop was the Guyaju Caves. Definitely a must see. It was pouring with rain but Jeffrey still managed to make the trip around the caves very enjoyable. Great day out!

We had a fantastic day with Jeffrey. He and his excellent driver met us at our hotel (even though it wasn’t on the list of hotel pick ups) early so we could start our day. Lunch was at a local restaurant, Jeffrey asked our eating preferences, and did a great job picking a variety of yummy dishes. The river boat and the caves were perfect after our long flight to China and we even stopped at the jade factory for a tour and shopping before getting dropped back at our hotel. Lots of walking and stairs at the 2 stops. All in all a great excursion.

I was on this trip, and I couldn’t agree more with how amazing it was! Summer was truly fantastic — so friendly, accommodating, and full of positive energy. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. Our driver (wish I caught his name!) was equally impressive — he handled the long 6-hour round trip with such professionalism and care. The gorge was breathtaking, and the caves were just as stunning. We even stopped at a charming local restaurant for some delicious food and cold beers — the service there was top-notch. One of my favorite parts was visiting a local apple farm where we got to taste and buy some of the freshest, most beautiful apples I’ve ever had. Overall, it was a perfect day filled with great company, amazing scenery, and wonderful people. Huge thanks to Summer and our driver — they deserve a raise! We had an unforgettable experience—all thanks to our incredible guide, Summer! She went above and beyond to keep us perfectly on track, even with the long commute from our hotel, ensuring not a single minute of our itinerary was wasted. First and foremost, the very nice lady Summer was fantastic. She was very accommodating and pleasant and made out adventure more wonderful than I thought it could be. Also our excellent driver, wish I knew his name, was amazing driving us about 6 hours round trip. He was very accommodating as well. The gorge was beautiful but the caves were equally amazing. We stopped at a local rural resturant for food and beers where the service was fantastic. I give this excursion 5 stars and recommend it to everyone. We also popped by a local Apple farm and sampled and bought beautiful apples. Lastly, Summer and our driver should get a raise in pay, I would hire them any time for my future adventures! We had a full day booked and had an amazing time! Our guide, Summer, was incredible — she kept us perfectly on schedule despite our hotel being quite far away. She also took us to a wonderful lunch spot that easily accommodated a vegetarian diet. Getting to go inside the cave dwellings was such a special experience. Today created memories we’ll cherish for a long time!
