Josh the driver was entertaining and informative. Venus, the horse, appeared well cared for and healthy and was so pretty. Instructions to find the carriages were very helpful
The trip was cancelled understandably. However We were notified by a third person having arrived to meet the carriage. No one has contacted us. No messages received no apology and the help desk telephone no goes to answer phone
Hi Vicki, we notice you are from overseas and we sent an email with a full refund several hours prior to your reservation time. We apologize if we caused any inconvenience. Unfortunately there was an unforeseen circumstance that occurred that day in central park and the park was closed to any tours - we meant well
Very sad to see horses being used for carriage rides in the city. I visited during the time when a horse died, and sadly it was not the first one. In hot weather and busy streets, I do not think this is fair for the horses. I would not support this attraction.
The horse carriage ride did not show up and I did not receive a notice that it was canceled until several hours after the event was to take place.
Our driver was a very pleasant young lady whose horse was named Starlight.I'm sorry I forgot her name but she was excellent and every knowledgeable and all things Central Park! ❤️
Lovely way to get an overview of such the park. Engaging driver pointed out the sites and took our pictures. And our granddaughter loved feeding carrots to the horse afterwards.!
I have wanted to do this for several years. I was skeptical about booking on line. But everything was very easy and the tour was great. We had a young tour guide that was so fun and knowable. It’s June now I csnt remember her name but here is her picture. They give you blankets ! We were warm on March 29!
Our driver Josh was quite knowledgeable and entertaining. Highly recommended. Our horse was quite large.
This was a great experience for my bf who had never been to NYC before. Our coachman was very knowledgeable and it was enjoyable seeing him interact with his horse, Noble. It is definitely worth the money if you want your first time in Central Park to be unforgettable!
We booked a 45-minute tour, and it lasted 35 minutes. The driver kept stopping and insisting we get out to walk and look around. We paid for a ride, not to walk around on our own. He also would not let the awning for the carriage be touched or adjusted at all. This tour was not worth the money and was a big let-down.
Hello, we're sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with your experience. Based on your complaint, it seems you should have chosen a 35-minute tour without stops if you wanted to avoid photo opportunities. We would be happy to refund the difference if you reach out to us. Additionally, it's not feasible to close the carriage roof during the tour, as the horse handlers need to concentrate on guiding the horse and ensuring safety at all times. We appreciate your business and review. We truly meant well
