In molte culture esistono diverse credenze legate all'ametista. Scava la tua gemma della Lapponia, un'ametista viola, e portala a casa come ricordo della tua avventura.

Super fun with kids, although it's cold. The clothes were really good for us. Julia super friendly and helpful.
Mine located high with incredible views A passionate French gentleman told us about his job and the mine Then the search for this famous little stone A fun and unique experience
Visiting the amethyst mine was a great experience. Digging for amethyst yourself on the hillside made it feel authentic and exciting, especially knowing you might uncover a real gemstone. The location is beautiful, the activity is fun and engaging, and the overall experience is something both adults and kids can enjoy. A truly unique and memorable visit — highly recommended!
Amazing landscape, the mine was worth a visit. We just wish that we had more time to walk a bit in the nature or at least enjoy it without rush (e.g. 10-15min per change of vehicle and on the summit), just like the break at the middle station which was very nice! The time in the mine digging was 30min and we thought it was well chosen as it's quite chilly there. We found some small pieces of Amethyst and were allowed to keep a few. We'd recommend this tour to anyone who just wants to go to the mine while having a good look out the window - if you'd like to experience the surrounding nature more, there are definitely other tours which focus more on it.
Excellent, friendly and experience tour guides, both - the guide organising the trip and travel, and the guides on-site at the mines. Interesting combination of learning about Lapland's history, nature and natural resources as well as attractive programme for the children. In summary, a rather unique experience to learn about Europe's and probably even the world's only non-industrial amethyst mine and the motivation of people running it for years.
This was a day trip from Norwich airport with Newmarket holidays and well worthwhile. It was expensive, especially if like me you take the whole family!!!We flew from Norwich airport at 08.00am arriving at 12.00 noon Swedish time. (The flight was just 3 hours). We spent 6 hours there during which time we had sleigh rides pulled by the reindeer, followed by sleigh rides pulled by huskies. Our next activity was to walk through the forest guided by lights, to have a lovely warm fruit drink before continuing to the home of Father Christmas! Our grandson enjoyed being in the limelight and being given a small present before we were taken back to the centre on a motorised sleigh. A further hour was spent sledging whilst us oldies were welcoming a hot cup of tea. At 6.00 pm, we were collected and taken the short distance to the airport, where we flew out at 8.00pm. All meals were provided and whilst these were not over indulgent, they were adequate. A hot meal was provided during both flights while a hot lunch was provided by the locals. If, like us, you think your children no longer believe in FC, do this trip and then see what they make of it. You never know, you might even question it yourself?!!!!
An amazing day in a remote picture perfect location. Marika made our day by looking after us so well. My 8 year old was thrilled by the adventure and finding amethysts. Wonderful. Would highly recommend. It’s a long day- take snacks 😊
