Il tuo autista ti verrà a prendere dal tuo rispettivo hotel per procedere con il tour della città. Per prima cosa visiterete il Tempio Wat Chayamangkalaram dove si trova la 4a statua del Buddha sdraiata più lunga.
Proprio dall'altra parte della strada si può anche visitare il tempio birmano di Dhammikarama che custodisce una statua di Buddha in piedi a 8,2 metri, rendendolo il più alto della Malesia. L'esistenza di questi due templi è dovuta al primo insediamento della comunità thailandese e birmana all'inizio del 1800.
Dopodiché, fai un giro panoramico per le strade di George Town - Patrimonio dell'Umanità dell'UNESCO e assisti al dilagare lasciato dagli abitanti britannici e locali del passato. Luoghi di interesse: Esplanade/Fort Cornwallis, Little India, Streets of Racial Harmony, Chew Jetty, ecc.

Alla fine del tour della città, l'autista ti riporterà al tuo hotel. In alternativa, puoi richiedere di essere lasciato in qualsiasi luogo di Georgetown. L'autista fornirà indicazioni su come tornare al tuo hotel utilizzando i tuoi mezzi di trasporto. Se ti veniamo a prendere al terminal crociere, ti riporteremo anche al terminal crociere dopo il tour.

Il trasferimento e la riconsegna gratuiti dall'hotel sono disponibili dal vostro hotel in un raggio di 4 km dal centro di George Town. Per i ritiri al di fuori del raggio di 1 km si applica un supplemento da pagare il giorno dell'attività. Offriamo anche pick-up presso il terminal crociere (dock). Vi preghiamo di fornirci le informazioni sul molo e l'orario di partenza prima del tour, in modo da poter organizzare il vostro pick-up di conseguenza.

I was so surprised when I meet my driver and found out that I was the only passenger. My travel companion had a severe headache and she unfortunately did not attend. it was an amazing trip, with so many Temples and areas to visit. I unfortunately had to cut the trip short, and I hated to leave as it was such a great friendly trip.

Pre-booked this private excursion rather than using expensive cruise lines offering. Received clear/concise joining details from Ronnie who was to be our driver/guide for the half day tour. We had visited Georgetown before, but several years ago, and there has been quite a lot of development since our previous visits. Our first stop was at Padang Esplanade, then onto the Temple of the Goddess of Mercy. Ronnie recommended that we visit the Georgetown Mansion, which we duly did. The English speaking guide there was very good, informative & quite a character. This was followed by a visit to Wat Chayamangkalaram Thai Buddist temple, which houses one of the world's longest reclining Buddha statues at 33 metres & literally across the road to take in a Burmese Temple. Or trip concluded with a quick revisit to the E & O Hotel before being dropped off back at the (very) nearby Cruise Terminal. Can thoroughly recommend this excursion, Ronnie was a very knowledgeable & personable driver/guide, so it's a 5 star rating!

A drive around highlights. Driver was lovely but basi Engkish, csr could have done with a clean too. Everything walkable from the cruise ship top and quicker than drivong

Sally took us to the 2 famous temples , Thailand & Burma, which were amazing to see, along with sites and shopping areas. Went to the Jetty area and toured how families live in this village, We passed on the hawker center- should not have done that- but we stopped at a local restaurant on the way back to the port to enjoy the quaintness and drinks. Would recommend taking this tour if you want a private excursion to see the temples .

We also explored local sites, shopping areas, and the Jetty, where we got a glimpse of village life and how families live there. The guy was really great. He provided the best information about the whole of Penang city. We had tons of information about the city's history. We went through Chew Jetty and multiple places inside Georgetown. He gave us a better explanation of how things went by etc. etc. so yeah we liked it pretty much. Thank you.
