"La prima tappa dell'itinerario è l'Arco di Charents - monumento-punto di vista del Monte Ararat biblico. Successivamente, il Tempio pagano di Garni - unico tempio pagano ellenistico in piedi nella regione del Caucaso, risalente al I secolo d.C. - costruito come tempio al dio del sole Mihr (Mitra). Il monastero di Geghard fa parte del patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO insieme all'Alta Valle Azat. Lago Sevan, secondo lago d'acqua dolce d'alta quota più grande del mondo. La sua unica isola maggiore (ora una penisola) ospita un monastero medievale che offre viste panoramiche su tutto il lago e sulle montagne circostanti. Il monastero di Sevanavank fu costruito nel IX secolo e ospita uno dei 4 Amenaprkich Khachkar rimasti. Il Monastero è intessuto in molti importanti eventi storici e importanti battaglie. Dilijan conosciuta anche come la piccola Svizzera è una piccola città nel nord circondata da foreste e montagne.

Sulla strada per il tempio, ci sarà una breve sosta all'Arco di Charents, dove ti verrà data la possibilità di goderti uno dei momenti migliori del tuo viaggio in Armenia: una pittoresca vista sul Monte Ararat biblico.
Il Tempio di Garni (77 d.C.) è l'unico tempio pagano in piedi in tutta l'area post-sovietica. Il tempio si erge con grazia su un altopiano che domina la gola del fiume Azat. Ospita anche lo stabilimento termale romano con il misterioso mosaico, realizzato con 30.000 pezzi di pietre naturali, nonché le rovine del palazzo reale, risalente al III secolo d.C.
Garni Gorge è una splendida attrazione naturale situata in Armenia, vicino al villaggio di Garni. È anche conosciuta come la "Sinfonia delle pietre" per le sue formazioni rocciose uniche che creano una bella sinfonia di colori e forme. * La visita alla Sinfonia dei Sassi è soggetta alle condizioni meteorologiche.
Il complesso monastico di Geghard è un altro sito storico incluso in questo tour giornaliero. Tradotto in italiano come “Monastero della Santa Lancia”, si riferisce alla lancia con cui Longino trafisse Gesù ancora appeso alla croce, successivamente portata in Armenia e custodita nel monastero di Geghard per 5 secoli. Il complesso è una rappresentazione dell'Armenia del XIII secolo, che è considerata l'età d'oro dell'architettura del paese. Tuttavia, la parte più sorprendente è la virtù dell'architetto, che ha tagliato la chiesa proprio nella roccia solida pur considerando tutte le regole dell'architettura armena.
Durante il vostro soggiorno in Armenia, non potete semplicemente perdere l'occasione di visitare uno dei monumenti più iconici del paese, lo splendido lago Sevan. Situato a 1.900 metri sul livello del mare e circondato da una maestosa catena di montagne, questo spettacolare lago è un must-see. Salirai fino alla penisola di Sevan, dove ti aspettano viste panoramiche mozzafiato sul lago dalla vetta. Mentre sei lì, avrai l'opportunità di esplorare il Monastero di Sevanavank, che ospita uno dei più squisiti Amenaprkich (Tutto Salvatore) Khachkar dell'Armenia. Questa notevole croce è tra le 13 più rare del paese, raffigurando Gesù in un modo davvero bello.
Il monastero di Haghartsin risale al X-XIV secolo. Il nome è tradotto come “gioco dell’aquila”. Lo scenario è in qualche modo simile a una splendida opera d'arte, con sia il monastero che la natura che lo circonda che offre una vista mozzafiato. Il refettorio di Haghartsin è considerato il più grande tra l'architettura della Chiesa armena; è stata un'innovazione assoluta del suo tempo! Se siete curiosi di sapere perché, non ci sarà niente di meglio che vederlo di persona!
Dilijan è una pittoresca città, spesso definita la "Svizzera dell'Armenia" per la sua straordinaria bellezza naturale. Passeggiando lungo la strada più antica, Sharambeyan, sarete affascinati dalle case in legno, molte delle quali risalgono al XIX secolo.
Il tour ti porterà quindi nel nord dell'Armenia, dove sarai circondato da una natura meravigliosa. Attraverso la città di Dilijan, faremo una sosta al monastero di Gosh-Goshavank. Questa chiesa storica si trova nel cuore della natura e del bellissimo villaggio che ha lo stesso nome. Mkhitar Gosh era uno dei grandi poteri intellettuali del suo tempo, "un umile uomo di saggezza", autore di numerose opere, tra cui il primo codice di diritto civile e canonico utilizzato sia nella Grande Armenia che in Cilicia. È sepolto vicino alla chiesa che egli stesso costruì nel 1188. Qui vedrai anche il Khachkar di Pavghos (Poghos), considerato il più bel Khachkar "ricamato" (croce di pietra) dell'Armenia.

Communicating with Yerani Travel via WhatsApp to confirm our pickup was seamless. Our driver, Mr. Norik, arrived five minutes early in a spotless, new electric car. He was incredibly patient, polite, and welcoming. Even though he did not speak English, communication was effortless because the office provided him with a detailed itinerary, including durations for each attraction and drive times. We never felt rushed and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful sights at our own pace. Mr. Norik also took us to a restaurant that served delicious, reasonably priced food. Choosing this private tour gave us the freedom to enjoy each site to the fullest, and we highly recommend it.

I went to a solo tour with Driver Grugen. He was punctual, safe driver and very gentle. He was very helpful in communicating with me using a translator and making sure I was comfortable in the car. Everywhere I went was a picturesque world and I am very satisfied. The tour price is reasonable and I highly recommend this tour.

Took two hours including a private tour - both were excellent and made it easy to see a lot of key sights of Armenia in a short space of time. One of the people in my hotel says I’ve seen more places than him and he was born in Armenia :)
