Tra i luoghi di interesse da non perdere ci sono Palazzo Gyeongbokgung, Villaggio Bukchon Hanok e Mercato di Gwangjang. Siete pregati di notare che Gyeongbokgung è chiuso il martedì e sarà sostituito con un'alternativa altrettanto sorprendente. In caso di traffico estremo, l'itinerario può essere adattato alle principali attrazioni di Incheon, come Chinatown o Sinpo Market, per garantire un ritorno sicuro e tempestivo alla tua nave.

Il Palazzo Gyeongbokgung conserva l'originale Padiglione Gyeonghoeru, un ottimo esempio di architettura Joseon, e il Padiglione Hyangwonjeong e lo stagno. Le sculture nella Geunjeongjeon Hall esemplificano le tecniche di scultura dell'era Joseon. Il lato ovest dell'area fuori dalla Porta di Heungnyemun è occupato dal Museo del Palazzo Nazionale della Corea, mentre il lato orientale del Padiglione Hyangwonjeong all'interno del Palazzo Gyeongbokgung è occupato dal Museo Nazionale del Folklore della Corea. Deoksugung (Palazzo) era una residenza privata del principe Weolsan. Il nono re della dinastia Joseon Seongjong, lo costruì per suo fratello maggiore Weolsangun. Divenne poi il palazzo nel 1593 quando il re Seonjo lo utilizzò come sua residenza. Deoksugung si trova nella parte centrale della storia moderna in Corea. Il palazzo è una fusione degli stili di costruzione occidentale e orientale. Deoksugung è famosa per il Jagyeokru (un orologio ad acqua) e la cerimonia del cambio dei comandanti delle guardie. Circondato dal Palazzo Gyeongbokgung, dal Palazzo Changdeokgung e dal Santuario di Jongmyo, il villaggio di Bukchon Hanok ospita centinaia di case tradizionali, chiamate hanok, che risalgono alla dinastia Joseon. Il nome Bukchon, che letteralmente si traduce in "villaggio settentrionale", è nato poiché il quartiere si trova a nord di due importanti punti di riferimento di Seoul, Cheonggyecheon Stream e Jongno. Oggi, molti di questi hanok operano come centri culturali, pensioni, ristoranti e case da tè, offrendo ai visitatori l'opportunità di sperimentare, imparare e immergersi nella cultura tradizionale Coreano. Poiché il villaggio di Bukchon Hanok è un vero e proprio quartiere con case di persone, si consiglia ai visitatori di essere rispettosi in ogni momento mentre si guardano intorno. Il mercato di Gwangjang è il primo mercato locale della Corea e continua a prosperare come destinazione turistica popolare oggi. Il secondo piano del mercato ha tutti i tipi di negozi di seta, raso, lenzuola di lino. Il mercato di Gwangjang è famoso anche per le sue bancarelle di cibo. Ci sono decine di bancarelle di cibo nel mezzo del mercato e gli snack più popolari includono Bindaetteok (fritture di pancake coreani) e Mayak Kimbab.
La torre di Namsan (= torre di N seoul) è uno dei punti di riferimento più rappresentativi di Seul da dove i turisti possono godere di una splendida vista della città che copre tutta la strada fino a gangnam, fiume Han e oltre. Soprattutto il tramonto rosso e la vista notturna è meraviglioso. Immagino che il sito più noto della torre siano le migliaia di lucchetti appesi alla recinzione dai visitatori come prova del loro amore o amicizia. Augurano amore indistruttibile o amicizia e scrivono il loro nome sul lucchetto e appendono alla recinzione. Quindi la torre di Namsan è uno dei luoghi raccomandabili dove i turisti possono fare bei ricordi a Seoul.

This tour was a perfect visit to Seoul, we were picked up in the Incheon port by Richard, our English Tour Guide, he was very early at the port before we had even disembarked, with constant communication with us through Whatsapp, has a very comfortable big van in like new conditions. He is very knowledgeable, always providing facts about Seoul and answering all our questions. He was definitely the best tour guide we have had in along time. Always making sure we were having a good time and enjoying our tour. He took us to lunch to where we wanted and took us back to the ship on time. Also, the price was much better than Royal Caribbean prices. This is the tour to be booked !!! Enjoy !!!

This was an informative and memorable tour, thanks to the knowledge of our guide, Nohill. Our transportation was in a comfortable, air conditioned vehicle. The highlight of the day was our visit to the beautiful Gyeongbokgung Palace which was enchanting to see, especially as so many visitors were wearing traditional Korean costumes. Nohill explained the history of the Palace and the purposes of each of the buildings. We were then given free time to look around the Folk Museum which was so interesting. As a complete contrast we also visited a Buddhist temple, had a traditional Korean lunch and were able to view Seoul from a great height.

We had a private tour with Nohill Park. He picked us up at the cruise port in Incheon for our tour. We found out the day before that the K-Pop band BTS would be performing a free concert in downtown Seoul and that things would be extremely congested and areas closed. Nohill planned our itinerary for the day to avoid all of this. We had a great day and would recommend Nohill as your driver.

Our tour guide Nohill was great. He made contact the day prior reassuring us of plans for the tour. With a limited window of time in port that was important to us. Unfortunately morning traffic into Seoul delayed us enough to miss out on a couple of sites but Nohill did his best to cover as much as he could and had us back at the port in plenty of time. He was great at taking photos of us, we finally have decent photos of my husband and I together on a holiday! Thanks Nohill for a wonderful day in Seoul 🇰🇷
