Si possono ammirare opere appartenenti all'arte bizantina, al periodo gotico, fino ad incontrare gli artisti del Rinascimento come Bellini, Giorgione, Tintoretto e Carpaccio e i "paesaggisti" del 1600 come Longhi, Canaletto, Guardi. Le Gallerie dell'Accademia ospitano anche l'“Uomo Vitruviano”, il celebre disegno a matita realizzato da Leonardo da Vinci alla fine del XV secolo. Per il suo inestimabile valore l'opera viene esposta solo in rare occasioni. Alla fine del tour, avrai la possibilità di passeggiare, con la tua guida, nel quartiere "artistico" di Dorsoduro "Sestiere Dorsoduro". Lì vedrai i luoghi più rappresentativi come Campo Santa Margherita, Fondamenta Zattere e Campo San Barnaba.

Great overview of both the Academia Museum and surrounding neighborhood. Our guide was exceptional with a wealth of information.

Ilaria was brilliant , a fountain of wonderful information and really went out of her way to make the history of venice come alive. We were delayed due to an incident with a pickpocketing attempt - this young lady came and found us and proceeded to give us a wonderful experience- recommend this guide and the tour

Our guide was lovely and gave a great overview of the city and Venetian art. She was early, stayed a bit late to finish, and was great with our young daughter. Our only small complaint is we sometimes exhausted her knowledge of certain technical points, but I imagine this wound not be an issue for most - she was quite knowledgeable.

It was very rewarding to have a private guide to the Accademia in Venice! Our guide put everything in context for us so it was not so overwhelming. She also took us on a wonderful walking tour of the area and pointed out interesting sites such as the Dario Palace "the house that kills". Google it for info. Quite spooky!
