Oggi verremo a prendervi la mattina presto al vostro hotel per visitare l'Area Naturale Protetta della Penisola Valdés, dichiarata Patrimonio dell'Umanità dall'UNESCO NEL 1999.
Dopo un'ora di viaggio, arriveremo al villaggio ecologico di Puerto Pirámides. Qui chi lo desidera può imbarcarsi per la tradizionale navigazione whale watching (non inclusa) tra i mesi di giugno e novembre, o leoni marini e cormorani tra i mesi di dicembre e marzo.
Se si sceglie di includere la navigazione per l'avvistamento delle balene, Puerto Pirámide è l'unico posto nella Península Valdés dove è possibile fare questa esperienza. Il viaggio di avvistamento delle balene inizia costeggiando la costa in entrambe le direzioni per poi addentrarsi in mare per una o due miglia, per entrare in contatto con le balene franche australi. La prima tappa è generalmente a La Lobería (colonia di leoni marini). La navigazione lungo la costa permette di osservare anche numerose colonie di cormorani. Continueremo la nostra navigazione per incontrare le balene. Una volta che li incontreremo, inizierà la magia. La barca fermerà i motori e comincerà a regnare il silenzio, interrotto solo dai rumori del mare e da qualche uccello occasionale. Sarà un momento unico dove, se saremo fortunati, potremo vederli molto vicini a noi. Il tempo di navigazione stimato sarà di 1:30 ore a seconda del periodo dell'anno, delle condizioni meteorologiche e del numero di animali nell'area. Chi rimane a terra potrà visitare la pittoresca cittadina di Puerto Piramides e le sue spiagge
Continueremo a visitare la parte meridionale della penisola, attraversando ampi paesaggi di praterie e ondulazioni, passando per le Salinas Grande e Chica, e fuori Punta Delgada, che costituisce l'estremità meridionale della penisola. Continueremo a Punta Cantor per ammirare la costa atlantica e l'affascinante formazione geologica conosciuta come Caleta Valdés. Queste spiagge sono solitamente abitate da elefanti marini del sud, a seconda del periodo dell'anno. A seconda della stagione e della disponibilità di fauna marina, possiamo sostituire la zona meridionale di Las Salinas e Caleta Valdés con Punta Norte.
Da lì inizieremo il nostro ritorno facendo una sosta al Centro di Interpretazione Carlos Ameghino, un compendio della ricchezza naturale della penisola. Durante l'escursione avremo grandi possibilità di osservare la fauna terrestre, come guanachi, nandù, volpi, mare, armadilli e puzzole.
Dopo aver goduto degli ultimi panorami della giornata, ti riporteremo al tuo hotel.

Se alloggi in un Airbnb/bungalow/appartamento, faccelo sapere e ti informeremo di un punto di incontro per il ritiro. DEVI fornire il tuo numero di telefono personale in modo che possiamo contattarti se necessario. Pick-up non incluso negli hotel situati nella periferia della città. In questo caso il viaggiatore dovrà pagare un costo extra per il trasferimento al centro città. Il trasferimento dall'aeroporto/stazione degli autobus di Puerto Madryn al tuo hotel a Puerto Madryn è disponibile a un costo aggiuntivo. Si prega di chiedere al momento della prenotazione. L'orario di ritiro a Natale e Capodanno può variare.

- Stagione per viaggiare: Escursioni tutto l'anno. Navigazione per l'osservazione delle balene disponibile da metà giugno a novembre. Navigazione con leoni marini disponibile da dicembre a fine marzo. Tra aprile e metà giugno non c'è navigazione.

We did this tour as a couple in November 2025 and loved it. The pickup was on time and everything was well organized. The guide was friendly, spoke good English, and shared interesting facts about the animals. The boat felt safe and we saw many whales very close, plus other wildlife. It was a long day but not too tiring, and it was a beautiful, romantic experience that we would happily recommend.

The trip to Peninsula Valdes was amazing, especially the whales, but it was quite expensive and very crowded.

It was amazing, every animal they said we would see we saw. We saw hundreds of whales with their babies, sheep and their babies, ostriches, horses, llamas, elephant seals, birds, maras, and more! It was incredible. We visited a tiny town too which was fun. We speak English and he made sure to repeat everything to both Spanish and English speakers and help us order at the restaurant and cafe. Everything worked out wonderfully - the punctual pick-up at the hotel, the Spanish/English language changeover from the guide, the pleasant transfer in the minibus, the timing of the day! Nice trip with a good guide, Selva, that told us a lot about the region, the area and the species in English, French, Italian and Spanish. It was not whale-season, but we saw other sea-animals and birds and animals on the ground. In total more than 10 different species. Thanks to the driver, Pablo, who kept a good lookout and stopped for taking photos.
It was the best experience to see the amount of Patagonian fauna in its natural habitation and the hand of an excellent guide , very grateful
Tour Guide Valeria and driver Rouen did their respective jobs very well. About five minutes after our boat left Puerto Pyramides we saw a mom with baby South Right Whale. Over the course of the 90 minute boat ride we saw about six more, as well as a fabulously large colony of Sea Lions. Orca came at high tide! Lunch there was quite good: Langostinos and salad with langostinos😉… Magellan Penguin colony consisted of about 15 individuals, very cute, nesting. Van was comfortable. Tour is recommended!
An exceptional day - no wind! We saw whales not above the surface, but underwater. In Caleta valdez there were very few elephant seals because not many had arrived in September.
The day was really well organized with Vanessa our guide for the day, Claudio our driver and Stephen for the our guide for the whales watching tour. We enjoyed every moment of it. We got plenty of explanation along the day and all our questions were answered. Travelling with our 2 teenagers, they enjoyed the tour as we did. Many thanks for this beautiful day with loads of fantastic whales and their babies.

They were great. The bus was clean and they were so informative. I booked through get your guide and was really happy with the service. We also booked another tour via Viator to Punta Tombo and it was awful. Luckily, we took this the day before and learned everything we needed about penguins. Book this tour!
