Itinerario
Il tuo tour epico inizia con un trasferimento al molo delle barche dove ti imbarcherai per un giro in barca di 25 minuti per vedere la vita sulle isole galleggianti di Uros. Quando inizi a navigare, avrai una vista incontaminata delle cime andine innevate in lontananza. Mentre raggiungeremo le coste delle isole degli Uros, la gente del posto ti porrà un caloroso benvenuto e ti introdurrà alla loro vita su quest'isola artificiale. Le persone qui parlano aymara, la nostra guida turistica ti insegnerà alcune parole in modo da poterle salutare nella loro lingua. Il capo della comunità dimostrerà come costruiscono queste isole e ne condividerà la storia. Se lo desideri, puoi acquistare dei souvenir qui. La gente del posto offrirà quindi un breve giro sulla loro barca di canne totora fino all'isola principale di Uros (questo ha un costo aggiuntivo di 10 Soles). Avrai del tempo libero per passeggiare, l'isola è anche fatta di canna di totora. Dopo aver fatto il pieno di storia e panorami, ci imbarcheremo in un viaggio di 2 ore a Taquile.
Poiché la barca si avvicinerebbe alle coste dell'isola di Taquile, il nostro esperto locale ti fornirà brevi informazioni sulla vita della gente del posto qui. Sono quasi 45 minuti a piedi su per la collina fino alla vetta da dove potrai contemplare i panorami. Taquile è la patria del miglior artigianato andino. Gli uomini qui lavorano a maglia mentre le donne filano la lana. Le persone qui si vestono in base al loro stato civile. La nostra guida te lo spiegherà in dettaglio. Un capo villaggio ti darà una dimostrazione su come tingono la lana usando le verdure. Dopo una breve introduzione, ci fermeremo per il pranzo in un ristorante locale. Dopo pranzo, torneremo al molo e ci imbarcheremo sulla nostra barca per un viaggio di ritorno a Puno. La distanza di 36 chilometri (22 miglia) sarà coperta all'incirca in due ore e mezza. Raggiungeremo Puno entro le 05:00. Un nostro rappresentante ti incontrerà e ti riporterà al tuo hotel nel centro della città.

We had an amazing experience on the full day Lake Titicaca Tour with Discover Lake Titicaca. Everything was very well organized from beginning to end, and the day gave us a wonderful insight into the culture and traditions of Lake Titicaca. Our guide, Fausto, was exceptional. He was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about the history and local communities. His explanations made our visits to the Uros floating islands and Taquile Island much more meaningful. He was always attentive, happy to answer questions, and made sure everyone felt comfortable throughout the day. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, especially around Taquile Island, and we really enjoyed learning about the traditional way of life, textiles, and customs of the local people. The entire experience felt relaxed, informative, and very well coordinated. A huge Thank You to Fausto and the Discover Lake Titicaca team for making our day so memorable. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Peru, and we would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Puno and Lake Titicaca.
Little content and superficial information regarding the place, the inhabitants, the history, etc., etc. Too much commercial interest in selling you crafts, boat rides, and taking you to lunch at a place that is not accessible to everyone.

A perfect day trip from Puno! One of the guides, Julio, personally picked me up from my hotel and took me to the shuttle bus, which was a great start to the day. I was then placed in Fausto's group, and he was an outstanding guide. His English was excellent, and he was incredibly knowledgeable about the local history and cultures. Pablo was another standout guide who gave entertaining and informative commentary during the boat cruise, making the journey even more enjoyable. Visiting the local families on Uros was a truly special experience, and lunch on Taquile Island was exceptional. We enjoyed delicious quinoa soup followed by fresh trout with Peruvian potatoes, and there was also a vegetarian option available. The transport was comfortable, the entire day was well organized, and it offered fantastic value for money. A must-do experience when visiting Puno!

We did the full day tour with guide Ruben and it was very unique experience. Nancy picked us up from the hotel on the day of the tour and she was very kind and helpful. They also stored our bags while we were on the tour. Taquile island involved a bit of hike but it was very well organised with regular stops. The views were out worldly and the lunch was very delicous. Highly recommend the tour and Discover Lake Titicaca. A big plus if you get Ruben as your guide.

The full day Lake Titicaca tour was an excellent experience. Visiting the Uros Flaoting islands and Taquile Island was fascinating,and the scenery on the lake was stunning. We opted for this full day trip before travelling to Bolivia and we are very happy with everything. The communication, guide, transfers everything was efficient. The guide was very knowledgable. I specially enjoyed the secoond island we visited as it had lot of cultural value and the views were very nice.

This was a perfect day trip from Puno, the pickup was very well cordinated and the guide was very knowledgable and passionate to share information about the local traditions and customs. Lunch was served in Taquile island in a local family restaurant overlooking the valley. Highly reccomend.

Did this full day Lake Titicaca tour and it was perfectly organized, it included visits to two different islands and our guide, fausto was very passionate in sharing his knowledge about the places and culture. Despite the disrupted weather in the morning, everything was great. We had a private tour of the two islands. The sun appeared in a magnificent setting... Two completely different islands... but authentic... Stunning landscapes!

A very friendly guide and professional staff. Everything was perfect from start to end with no unpleasant surprises. The tour included visits to two different islands and locals were welcoming and explained about their traditions and customs. The floating islands was a little touristic but quite different in a pleasant way.
