Preparati a intraprendere un viaggio esilarante attraverso gli splendidi altopiani dell'Ecuador, dove panorami mozzafiato ti aspettano ad ogni angolo. La nostra destinazione? Il maestoso Ingapirca, un imponente tempio-fortezza Inca intriso di storia. È considerato il sito archeologico più significativo dell'Ecuador e non è difficile capire perché. Le incredibili capacità ingegneristiche e architettoniche del popolo Inca sono evidenti in questo sito costruito dagli adoratori del sole.
La nostra avventura continua con un pittoresco viaggio di un'ora e mezza verso gli incantevoli villaggi di Gualaceo e Chordeleg, dove ti attende un delizioso pranzo tradizionale presso l'Arhana Resort. Il nostro menu fisso comprende un antipasto, un piatto principale, una bibita e un piccolo dessert, con opzioni vegetariane e vegane disponibili su richiesta.
La nostra prossima tappa è Chordeleg, una città rinomata per i suoi talentuosi gioiellieri e altri negozi di artigianato. A Gualaceo visiteremo la piazza coloniale, ti immergerai nella ricca storia e nel fascino irresistibile della città. Goditi un caffè e, per i più avventurosi, prova la tradizionale bevanda Rosero. È il modo perfetto per sperimentare i sapori autentici dell'Ecuador.
Alla nostra ultima tappa, visiteremo il laboratorio di una famiglia locale dove potrai assistere all'intricato processo di tessitura di scialli e poncho su telai antichi. Utilizzando coloranti estratti dalle piante, questo metodo tradizionale è stato tramandato di generazione in generazione. Dopo un'intera giornata, faremo ritorno a Cuenca.

Our guide Diego was excellent and made the experience great with all his historical knowledge of the country, and its ancient civilizations. He was attentive and very attentive. I would not hesitate to recommend it warmly. As we were only 3 people, it was a "private" tour if you can put it that way. The restaurant chosen was excellent and the service impeccable. Amazing trip! Our guide Juan, and driver Homero picked us up at our hotel. Our van was comfortable and Homero was a safe driver. Juan is a local guide and is very knowledgeable about Cuenca and the surrounding areas. As we traveled he provided information about the area, its history and the environment around us. At Ingapirca he provided a great tour, not only teaching us about the site but various flora and fauna we saw. The learning continued as we visited Gualaceo and learned about the lkat style of weaving. Lunch was delicious and well worth the price! An appetizer, soup, entree, dessert and drink. Chordeleg was amazing and we enioyed seeing how the silver filigree is made. Last stop was back at the large Gualaceo market. Juan helped us find an amazing bakery where we had delicious Rocio (a local fruit drink) and bread. Homero safely delivered us back to our hotel. Fabulous tour with an excellent guide!
