- Le scarpe sportive o da trekking (con una buona presa) sono obbligatorie e saranno controllate dalla guida prima di iniziare l'escursione. Durante i nostri percorsi consigliamo abbigliamento da montagna o abbigliamento sportivo.
- Nel periodo aprile-settembre le precipitazioni sono scarse, la temperatura anche nella parte più alta delle montagne si aggira intorno ai 22 gradi, arrivando fino a 26 gradi a giugno, luglio e agosto. La maglietta di solito ci sta bene, ma è sempre bene indossare abiti a maniche lunghe.
- I mesi da ottobre a marzo sono un periodo di tempo variabile e le piogge più frequenti (cerchiamo sempre di evitare di effettuare le nostre escursioni durante i giorni di pioggia, ma a volte il tempo può sorprenderci). Si consiglia (durante le giornate fredde obbligatorie) un abbigliamento caldo con maniche lunghe (pantaloni, polartec) e una giacca impermeabile che possa funzionare perfettamente come giacca a vento.
- In caso di forza maggiore che impedisca il proseguimento dell'escursione o metta in pericolo la salute o la vita dei partecipanti all'escursione (condizioni meteorologiche, ecc.), l'organizzatore si riserva il diritto di modificare il percorso o cambiarlo in un'altra/altra data, o annullarlo .
- Età minima consigliata per i bambini: 8 anni.
- Considerando che il nostro pranzo al ristorante sarà intorno alle 15:30 e il tuo modo di mangiare, puoi portarti da solo un pasto leggero, ad esempio (frutta, barrette energetiche, mandorle, biscotti, ecc.). panino ecc.)

We booked the Full day Hiking Gran Canaria Peaks of Gran Canaria as a family day out and the experience was fantastic. Maciej is a great mountain guide and the trekking had plenty of regular stops to rest and to learn more about the mountain, the fauna and the recent history of the area. Maciej was very attentive and we truly enjoyed the walk to a phenomenal peak with amazing views of Roque Nublo, Pico de las Nieves and even the Teide. The spot selected for lunch was a great choice too and we enjoyed a lovely meal. We don't hesitate to recommend this trekking experience.
An absolutely amazing day in Gran Canaria! The hike offers stunning scenery and is a fantastic way to discover a completely different side of the island, far from the tourist areas. The views throughout the hike are truly worth it. A special mention goes to our guide, Maciej, who was exceptional from start to finish. Very friendly, passionate, attentive, and above all incredibly knowledgeable. He knows the island, its history, nature, and landscapes extremely well, and really takes the time to share his knowledge throughout the hike. You immediately feel comfortable and in very good hands. Everything was perfectly organized, the pace of the hike was very enjoyable, with plenty of breaks to take in the scenery, and lunch at the end was a great way to finish the day. Definitely one of the best activities I did in Gran Canaria. If you love nature and the mountains and want to discover the island from a different perspective, I 100% recommend this tour. And once again, a huge thank you to Maciej for such a fantastic day!
Maciej was super energetic and had great stories for the drive up, during the tour, and the drive back. We were a bit of a quiet group, but it was impressive to see him toggle between 3 languages for the tour. The hike itself was fairly easy and Maciej made it a point to stop at intervals to ensure everyone wasn't too tired and we were able to learn about stops along the way. The hike itself was gorgeous - saw many peaks and the skies were clear. Nice day altogether. Thank you again Maciej!
Super fun day this was...I knew in advance that this would be a great day. It's a good thing it wasn't the 10 km they do outside the summer months because the heat is chomping in anyway, although that was absolutely doable, because there is really a lot of taking a break. Also really a small group, super nice was this, that's what it really feels like to be away with friends and not so much as a real excursion and I prefer that, for me this is a keeper, next time in Canarias I will go back with you than for the walk of the week. There was also a very nice lunch offered and that absolutely tasted after the effort..the organization was just top, as well as the service, I absolutely recommend this hike, thank you very much and see you next time, greetings from Belgium, Marianne
The trip was great! It was nice hiking tempo with many short stops to take some pictures and drink water. The guide would point out certain interesting things and could explain it in multiple languages. the scenery was fantastic but dont underestimate having good shoes and lots of water! The food was fine, i was worried the restaurant wouldn't have any vegetarian meals but they had 3 different veg options + other meat options. The price was more than worth it! Definitely recommend it if you like to hike in beautiful mountains.
A beautiful walk on the peaks of grand Canaria
What a fantastic day out! Maciej is a highly skilled tour guide and led our small group through breathtaking scenery over a moderately challenging mountain route. The pace was that of the slowest walker - no one struggled to keep up or was left behind. Even the drive to the start point was an unforgettable experience as we made our way through picturesque villages and rugged terrain. I'm so glad to have connected with GC Active Tour and as a frequent visitor to the Island, will be booking with them the next time I'm back in Gran Canaria.
Absolutely AMAZING! Macha is super nice and knowledgeable gave us info on our surrounding. We saw rock nublo and climbed one of the peaks (in pictures). Breathtaking views and Macha will match your pace and give breaks when needed. Highly recommend it!
I did the Peaks of Gran Canaria hiking tour today and it completely exceeded my expectations. The scenery throughout the hike was absolutely breathtaking — truly magical landscapes, with the chance to discover and even smell some of the island’s unique flowers and nature. A special mention goes to Maciej, who was an exceptional guide. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the area, very professional, and clearly passionate about what he does. His enthusiasm and insights made the whole experience even more enjoyable and interesting. The tour itself was extremely well organised, with well-timed and frequent stops that made the hike comfortable and enjoyable for everyone. The food provided at the end was also a very thoughtful touch and much appreciated after such an active and energetic day. I would highly recommend this hiking tour to anyone visiting Gran Canaria — it is absolutely worth it and one of the highlights of my trip.
Anyone who wants to experience the diversity of Gran Canaria is exactly right here. The drive to the center of the island already gives the first impressions of the landscapes and mountains. The hike was relaxed with some short breaks during which events, plants, and animals were discussed. Along the way, you get to see various viewpoints. In addition to the many flowers, butterflies were also visible. The only thing that remained covered during the tour by clouds was part of the north. However, the interplay between clouds, mountains, and weather zones was a highlight in itself. The guide is excellent and can speak several languages. There were 4 nationalities on the tour, and everyone received the same information. A small tip: the advice to bring a rain jacket should be taken seriously. The start was damp and cool. If I travel to the island again, I will book a tour with GC Active Tour again.
