Fantastic trip. Friendly guide. Amazing locations. Flamingos, herons, jumping fish and a dramatic sunset over the lagoon (The Albufera). Some advice: Go to the loo before you leave as there are no pitstops. Take a sandwich, a drink and a hat. I would definitely recommend going on this trip.
I do not recommend the walking tour through the Albufera canal to Saler beach because of the heat and humidity, and it also does not have any special interest; you see the reed beds and some lagoon until Saler beach. It is designed more for foreigners, since out of a group of 25 people, only 2 of us were Spanish, and they might find it curious that one eats paella, drinks Agua de Valencia, and that horchata is of Valencian origin. The The boat ride and watching the sunset is fine. If you have a car, it is more interesting for you to take the boat directly, which leaves before sunset, and you avoid unbearable heat and a group of tourists where, if you do not know English, you do not understand anything, and instead of 38 Euros, you pay 8. Paco the guide is a delight.
Great trip with Paco- good communication beforehand, walk could be done in sandals and lovely boat ride with sunset view, would recommend!
The trip was definitely worth it. Paco was a great tour guide and made everyone feel part of the experience. There were a few niggles. No toilet opportunity at any point in the 3 hour trip so go before you go. The coaches ac was dripping as much as it was staying cool. But knowing those things, the trip was completely worth the price.
I booked the tour, but I was not picked up at one of the pickup locations. The tour operator is unreachable, or rather, no one answers the phone or WhatsApp. Too bad, I was looking forward to it.
We had a very beautiful boat trip with a great guide! After te bus picked everyone up there was an optional quick walk through a forest, near a lake with views on flamingos. The boat trip itself was beautiful, with interesting information and a very pretty sunset! It did last until about 10pm so keep in mind to bring something to eat/drink. Would recommend!
If I could recommend any excursion whilst in Valencia it would be this one: it was welcome change from the hustle and bustle of the city. The tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming; and the setting relaxing, picturesque, and peaceful.
It was a beautiful short trip. Our guide Paco was very entertaining.
We had a peaceful experience with beautiful scenery and a stunning sunset. Our guide, Alejandro, was great -friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even better. One note: during the summer, even though the tour takes place in the evening, it can still be quite hot and sunny. Be sure to dress appropriately and bring plenty of water.
Alejandro, our friendly guide, told us interesting and fun things about the nature in Albufera. It was a very tranquil evening, everyone could just enjoy the beautiful environment. A tip: use insect repellant.
