Stefano was great! Car was comfortable and he always had cool water for us. During the trip, Stefano made reservations for us for a wine tour and for lunch. Would love to take a tour with him again.

Stefano was an amazing tour guide. He shared with us so many details and information about the cities and what we were seeing which made the trip so entertaining. He also showed us amazing hospitality and guided us to where we needed to go on time, every time. The restaurant recommendations he gave were on point. We would 100% book again. The driver was a good conversationalist and a good driver but wasn’t knowledgeable in doing tours apparently. We were to have been “scheduled” for a wine tour & tasting. He didn’t schedule with them and guessing since the tasting was free he didn’t know they required reservations. Then he gave us the name of a restaurant to go to for lunch “hearing it was a good place”..,wish we could confirm but it was closed. Essentially he drove us to destination, but we definitely were on our own. This was expensive for what was given and we have done several wine tours before. Not a Viator standard.

We would like to clarify a few points regarding the experience. The winery visited in Montepulciano was Cantina Ercolani, the oldest wine producer in Montepulciano, and for the standard tasting experience reservations for our team are generally not required. Guests are normally welcomed for tastings upon arrival, which is why no formal booking was necessary. Regarding the restaurant recommendation, we are sorry that the specific restaurant suggested was closed. During the low season, some restaurants in small Tuscan towns close one day per week. Fortunately, there are more than 25 excellent restaurants within a one-minute walking distance in the historic center, which usually offers many alternatives for lunch. We would also like to highlight that this experience is designed as a private luxury day trip from Rome to Tuscany, including private transportation in a Mercedes EQE 400 and an English-speaking driver-guide. The driver provides comfortable transportation, local insights, and recommendations, while allowing guests the freedom to explore the towns, wineries, and restaurants according to their preferences. That said, we truly appreciate your feedback and will continue refining our communication to ensure expectations are always perfectly aligned with the nature of this experience.
