Questo tour per piccoli gruppi è un modo fantastico per osservare la fauna selvatica e ammirare la bellezza di Grand Teton e i numerosi bacini geyser di Yellowstone. Faremo tappa a Oxbow Bend, Old Faithful geyser, Yellowstone Lake, Hayden Valley, Fountain Paint Pots e Mud Pots, West Thumb Geyser Basin, le Lower Falls del Grand Canyon di Yellowstone, così come diversi altri bacini geyser. La ricca storia, geologia, incendi e fauna del Parco Nazionale di Yellowstone saranno discussi in dettaglio durante il tour. Il 1 marzo 1872, Yellowstone divenne il primo parco nazionale per tutti a godere delle caratteristiche idrotermali e geologiche uniche. Durante il tuo tour esploreremo il Lower Loop del Parco Nazionale di Yellowstone! Potrai sperimentare un po' di tutto ciò che rende così famoso il Parco Nazionale di Yellowstone: fauna selvatica, geyser (incluso Old Faithful), cascate e paesaggi indimenticabili. Opportunità di osservare la fauna selvatica in un ecosistema intatto, esplorare aree geotermiche che contengono circa la metà dei geyser attivi del mondo e vedere meraviglie geologiche come il Grand Canyon del fiume Yellowstone.
Il geyser più famoso al mondo, Old Faithful geyser è stato chiamato per le sue frequenti e alquanto prevedibili eruzioni, che contano più di un milione da quando Yellowstone è diventato il primo parco nazionale del mondo nel 1872. L'Old Faithful Inn è stato costruito nel 1903-1904 con tronchi e pietre locali provenienti da quella che oggi è l'area del Parco Nazionale di Yellowstone. L'Inn è considerata la struttura in tronchi più grande del mondo. L'imponente lobby presenta un enorme camino in pietra e un orologio artigianale in rame, legno e ferro battuto che funge da punti focali.

Lower Falls, la cascata più grande di Yellowstone a 308 piedi di altezza, è la cascata più famosa del parco. I colori del canyon sono stati creati dall'acqua calda che agisce sulla roccia vulcanica. Non furono questi colori, ma le sponde gialle del fiume alla sua lontana confluenza con il fiume Missouri, a dare origine al nome indiano Minnetaree che i cacciatori francesi tradussero come roche jaune, pietra gialla. Il canyon è stato rapidamente abbattuto più di una volta, forse a causa di grandi esplosioni glaciali.
I Fountain Paint Pots sono un'incredibile tappa nel Lower Loop del Parco Nazionale di Yellowstone. Sono vasi di fango situati nel Lower Geyser Basin nel Parco Nazionale di Yellowstone. I Fountain Paint Pots prendono il nome dai ricchi rossi e dai vivaci gialli e marroni del fango in questa zona. I diversi colori derivano dagli stati di ossidazione del ferro nel fango.
Hayden Valley è una tappa obbligata del paradiso della fauna selvatica e il luogo in cui si trova la più grande mandria di bisonti in libertà nel mondo. Osserveremo orsi, lupi, bisonti, alci, cervi muli, coyote, volpi, aquile, pronghorn e altre creature mentre guidiamo attraverso questa bellissima zona!
Cammineremo lungo la passerella e scopriremo le tante bellissime piscine idrotermali situate in questa zona del bacino che è un'estensione dell'area del lago Yellowstone.
Oxbow Bend è uno dei luoghi più fotografati del Grand Teton National Park. Il monte Moran, nella catena montuosa del Grand Teton, è sullo sfondo e il fiume Snake si snoda in una bellissima lanca in primo piano. A volte sono possibili riflessi speculari del Monte Moran quando arriviamo in questo punto nelle mattine non ventose!
Jackson Lake si trova nel Grand Teton National Park nel Wyoming nordoccidentale. Questo lago naturale è stato ampliato con la costruzione della diga del lago Jackson, originariamente costruita nel 1911, ampliata nel 1916 e ricostruita nel 1989

Excellent tour and guide (Ray)! Just be prepared for a long day, but it's worth it! Saw wildlife (the guide made great efforts!) and the many natural wonders in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks.
The tour of Yellowstone was incredible! Our guide, Haeli, was a wealth of knowledge and a wonderful storyteller, sharing fascinating stories and facts throughout the day — you could tell she had years of experience guiding these tours. We hit all the major stops on the Lower Loop, including Coulter Canyon, the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, Old Faithful (we got to watch it erupt!), the Old Faithful Inn, a geyser basin, a mud basin, the Yellowstone Hotel, and so much more. The wildlife alone made the trip worth it — we got caught in a bison jam, spotted elk, and even saw baby grizzlies. Our picnic lunch was delicious, and we enjoyed snacks throughout the day too. This tour is a must if you want a stress-free, relaxing, comfortable day in Yellowstone, and it’s a great fit for all types of travelers — families, first-timers, you name it. I was so relieved not to have to think about driving or parking. The best part was being able to actually enjoy the park instead of focusing on the road. Highly recommend this tour, and if you’re lucky enough to get Haeli as your guide, even better!

Honestly I was skeptical that the reviews were from a bot-farm but booked anyway. After spending the day on ‘safari’ with Pat, I can assure they earned every one of these stars! Great communicators before, during and after the experience. Great local guide knowledge as well as pro tips on getting the best viewing at the best moments without having a ton of other people jockeying for slots. Pat was amazing. It was a long day but was well broken up with planned and impromptu stops throughout the adventure. I can only speak for our day, but we were pleasantly surprised by the amount of wildlife, etc we were able to see. A bit of everything. One should have zero hesitancy about booking this very detailed, professional and fun adventure. Enjoy!

Phil is the best!! He picked us up at our hotel room, first thing we saw a moose, he has an eye for spotting animals, next stop we saw a beautiful bull elk. The whole tour he narrated, he is so knowledgeable and loves his job. We really enjoyed the thermal area, the heat and colors were unbelievable. Phil timed it just right, we saw old faithful what a sight. He picked the perfect spot for our little picnic and lunch by the river. We spent some extra time watching the buffalo, we saw a red fox on the way out. The whole trip he offered snacks and drinks. He truly went out of his was to make our tour the best offering to take pictures of us and stopping for plenty of potty breaks. I highly recommend taking this tour it was well worth the money and we couldn't have saw what we saw without Phil.

The tour guide is knowledgeable and well-informed.For lunch, we experienced the Midwestern way of eating beef sandwiches, and there were also many snacks. The one day tour is suitable for people who want to see the essence of Teton and Yellowstone with a tight schedule. The guide was very nice. The schedule was not too busy, but we were still able to see all the must-sees.

We had a fantastic day touring Grand Tetons and Yellowstone national parks. We saw a huge bull moose, elk, deer, marmot, eagle, and bison. We arrived just in time to see Old Faithful erupt, toured other geysers, saw the beautiful Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and the lake. We had a nice lunch picnic by a creek and got stopped on our way back by bison crossing the road in front of us. Our guide Phil was wonderful. He knew all the history and science behind all the places we stopped and everything we saw. He needs a raise, he was great. We had great weather and loved seeing so much in one day. Thank you.
