My family of 6 adults enjoyed this tour immensely.It is the best way to see the countryside of Franschhoek in a leisurely manner accompanied by a very knowlegeable guide.We were assigned Abie as our guide. Abie was a gem - Although he is an accomplished cyclist, he was very patient with our group of adults with varying levels of cycling ability ,right down to beginners. His commentary of the scenery and towns was both informative and interesting. He was gregarious and good company. This tour is best done in the morning when it is sunny but still cool .Given the dryness of the weather, highly recommend bringing enough water and sunshades.

This was my wife's and my second experience with Matt, and it was just as good maybe even better than our first experience. After hiking 2-days prior with us, Matt adjusted our biking tour through Stellenbosch by adding a section through the Jonkershoeck Natural Reserve. It was incredible! The scenery was beautiful, and the 2 wine tastings were wonderful. Matt's provided an unforgettable day. We highly recommend Bike & Hike Day Tours.

I had an excellent morning e cycling up to and around the reservoir, with fantastic views on quiet roads and tracks followed by wine tastings at La Motte and La Bri. The delightful couple running the business were very accommodating and my guide was charming and interesting. I would recommend an outing with this company.

We went on a great bike tour with Abie in Stellenbosch! Picked up on time, received a very friendly and relaxed welcome and drove to the starting point in a well-maintained VW van. Top bikes and helmets and a big focus on our safety. Very informative and individual tour. Abie was happy to pass on his enormous knowledge to us. Great wines at two locations and no time pressure! We enjoyed it so much that we immediately arranged the next tour (hike up Lions Head in Cape Town). We can 100% recommend Bike and Hike! Thank you for the great experience!

I haven’t ridden a bike in 30 years, but Matt made me feel comfortable on the bike and made this a fantastic morning out. Our 12 year old son joined us, and coped very well. Matt ensured we were all happy, comfortable and hydrated throughout. Cycling through the various wine farms was absolutely beautiful and such a treat. This is a fantastic way to explore and enjoy wine tasting. A really fun morning! Thank you Bike & Hike.

3 hours of fun! We had an amazing time. Mountain biking was such a great way to explore Franschoek and gave us the opportunity to visit wonderful wine farms. Wine tasting along the way ;-) The tour was well organized and catered for our entire group. We will certainly recommend the experience to family and friends.Thank you Bike & Hike.

A lovely ride to and through numerous beautiful wine farms and likely the best way to experience and explore Franshoek. Would highly recommend it!
