Brilliant tour. Great guide, highly recommend.
I was the only person in the group so I had the guide’s full attention. He was very helpful in suggesting photo shoots since I don’t know anything about composition. He was also very personable.
Great! Guide was good and knowledgeable. The walk was very informative. Saw Gas town, China town, one view point.
I really enjoyed this photography lesson from Nafees. Learnt how to take great photos. New techniques that I’m going to put into practice. The tour was of ideal length and it covered many parts of Gastown and a bit of Chinatown as well. I recommend it to anyone who wants to learn something new or even if you just want some great pictures taken of you in Vancouver at night :)
Nafees, our guide and photographer, was fantastic—he not only shared fascinating history and details about Gastown and Chinatown but also made the experience engaging and fun. The walk through Gastown’s streets was magical, with its iconic Steam. Nafees’s photography skills were outstanding—he captured incredible professional shots of the town and myself, making the experience even more memorable. Whether you're into photography or just want stunning pictures from your trip, this tour is perfect.
Our Gastown Night Photography Tour was unique in that we learned about the neighborhood and saw it from a different perspective. Despite our mistake of booking the wrong day, Nafees was very flexible and accommodating. He taught us simple composition and long-exposure tips for night photography. He also gave us handy tips for learning on both a DSLR camera and our iPhones. As a bonus, you'll get many great shots with the family.
We had a great time in Gastown with Nafees. Learned some of the history of Gastown while he taught us some cool techniques for night photography. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in getting the most out of their camera or phone, or just want to find the best spots to shoot in the area.
My daughter and I did this on our recent trip to Vancouver. The guide was very friendly and personable. He took us on a short walking tour, provided us with some good tips for taking better photographs, and we got some good shots of my daughter and I together. I would definitely recommend this tour if you have an interest in photography.
I learned a lot about some very useful Iphone photo features - and have already put them to good use! Gastown is also a great location for night photography.
