Descrizione

Memorable experience

Tammy provided an excellent day filled with lots of information, good food and lots to see. Started the day with a relaxing boat trip along the river, to the excitement of the markets, the tranquillity of the canals and then making rice noodles. Lastly we visited another market before relaxing again on the boat back to Can Tho. Highly recommended- a very memorable morning.

The perfect Mekong morning tour

This was perfect! Nhung was a lovely host, had good English and not only was very friendly, accommodating and generous but also informed us alot of the real life on the Mekong delta. We were the only couple on the tour so this made it very personalised including catering to my dietary requirements. The tour covered a lot of different things to see and experience, provided enough rest stops and also the tour wasn’t too long. We were meeting at 5:45am and back by 10am. Perfect! Definitely book this tour!

Authentic experience

Thung our tour guide was fantastic as she spoke very good English and imparted much information to us. We were treated to breakfast at the floating markets, were taken on a boat to look at the living conditions of families. We were also taken to an authentic market where Thung purchased some tropical fruit and cake for us to sample. Thung was very personable and she had a very good sense of humour.

Best Mekong tour in Can Tho

Nhung was a fantastic guide. We learned a lot about life along the Mekong Delta. We visited a floating market, land market and rice paper making on a local scale. We had the best coffee in all of the South. Our boat captain was excellent and we felt safe with her navigating the river. I would 100% recommend everyone coming to Can Tho book this trip.

Immerse yourself in the life of the Can Tho Walk

Our guide was very dynamic and very attentive. We were plunged into the fervor of this market on the water and on the shore, we discovered fruits and local products. Wonderful experience and excellent meeting with our guide. A must.

Brillant experience and insight into life on the Mekong

Nhung is a brillant tour guide. She is very knowledgeable about all aspects of Vietnam, and its history. She and her boat pilot (another woman) were very calm and ensured a smooth boat trip. I am very nervous on water but with the good, new lifejackets and smooth boat operation even I relaxed and enjoyed my time exploring the market and side canals in their traditional boat. We visited a shop on a boat in the river and had pineapple juice. We then cruised the lines of bigger boats selling fruit and vegetables wholesale, minimium 50kg lots. These were mainly buying for shops on the land. The market is still vibrant and busy and very worth visiting. Get there as early as you can in the morning for the best experience. Nhung also does other tours which must be very good, based on our experience with her today

Excellent tour!

I would recommend this tour to anyone! Nhung was so friendly and personable. She spoke great English and was very knowledgeable about all the different things on the river. She took us to a local market and bought us drinks, snacks and fruit that we had never tried. Our boat driver was excellent navigating the river with the many boats on it. It was a very eye opening experience to life in can tho. It ended up just being my fiancé and myself on the boat. It was very intimate. She does a maximum of 6 guests which we loved, a small group opposed to the large tour groups! Would 10/10 recommend this to anyone!

Best Option

Fantastic option and great price for private tour for 2 at 1.8k VND. Pick up from hotel and straight on to the river. Far more personal than big tourist boats which zoom past. Our guide. Hung, was excellent; we visited floating and landside markets, hidden canals, noodle making stalls and walked through a flower village. And so much food! Pho, tropical fruits, cassava cakes and drinks on the river. Cannot be faulted.

Amazing tour with incredible guide

My son and I visited Can Tho for one day just to check out the Cai Rang floating market. I looked for a tour operator to take us there and show us around. We were so blessed to have found Nhung. She was wonderful. She gave me so many tips (via WhatsApp) to help make travel arrangements even before we officially met for the tour. Because our hotel was close to the dock, she actually met us at our hotel lobby and walked us over. She was full of information about the floating market and very generous in getting us drinks, snacks, and fruit all along the way from the river to the land market. The hu tieu we got from boat vendor has been the best soup we’ve had since getting to Vietnam 2.5 weeks ago. The overall tour experience was simply incredible. I have done tours/excursions in Europe and the Caribbean, and tour operator has ever shown this level of caring and attention to all possible details. I don’t know when we’ll be back to visit Vietnam, but when we do, we will book a tour with Nhung again.
