Cyril led us along the streets and the surroundings of Nice with great care and knowledge, always with a smile and good sense of humor. The bikes were in good condition and very easy to ride. Lunch was simple but welcome.
Carmela was one of the best tour guides we have ever had…and we travel a lot! She was knowledgeable, kind and caring, funny and taught us a lot about Nice and the general surroundings. Despite a delay with the bike shop attendant being late (not the fault of Nice Creative Tours or Carmela’s), we began our tour. The E-bikes were fantastic, easy to ride and almost new. We toured Nice and then continued to the eastern countryside…absolutely gorgeous. Since we waited to start the tour, Carmela actually toured us for six hours instead of the advertised five. We loved every minute, the beautiful scenery, the company of the other nine on the tour, and the wonderful sandwiches Carmela bought for us plus a couple of local treats, that were delicious - all included in the price of the tour.
Thank you so much for your kind review! All Nice Creative Tours team really appreciate it, and especially your great guide Carmela, which always try to adapt to every one's needs and interests. Sorry for the delay at the departure of the tour. We will be happy to see you again and show you more treasures of Nice, the French Riviera or about hidden gems of our hinterland. Best regards
This was an awesome tour! Definitely a highlight of our trip, what a lovely way to see so many places in a single half day tour while feeling the wind whiz through your hair on an e-bike. Seeing all of the beautiful homes and views and learning so much history was fantastic. Carmela was a great guide and we will remember this tour for years to come. Highly recommend!
I have never been on an e-bike so this was a new adventure for me. This is definitely for novice riders. There are hills and maneuvering between cars and around pedestrians. With that said, it was fabulous. Our guide Samuel was wonderful and actually switched out bikes with my husband when his battery was running low.
The great thing was that it was an e-bike that worked really well. The guide - Samuel has shown a lot and has also responded very well to our different levels of fitness. Since this tour was attended by very young people and also the parents. The beautiful setting is to be emphasized and we were allowed to get to know great specialties of the Cote D’Azur. He has also covered a lot about the culture and history of Antibes and the surrounding area. It is really worth booking this tour.
This was the most fun thing we did while on the coast! Carmela was so incredibly warm, personable and knowledgeable. Getting used to riding electric bikes, and riding them in a couple of the busier areas, was a bit overwhelming but she was so patient and encouraging. The scenery is fantastic and there’s just something different about experiencing it outside of a car or train. Carmela thought of everything- we stopped to choose our lunch and then continued on our way ending up at a picnic spot right by the water under a canopy of trees. It was a marvelous experience on every level!!
This ranked within our top 3 favorite bike tours ever! Our family loved our guide, Carmela- she was so fun and friendly- I would definitely suggest that you request her if possible. The views of Cap Ferret and all of the other scenery, along with the smell of jasmine, climbing roses, etc were just Incredible and breath-taking. The lunch picnic was delicious & we had fun the E-bikes, as they added a little exhilarating element weaving in and out of traffic and down hills along the coast. We also got to stop for about 45 mins to quickly browse the shops in villefranche Sur de mer. The entire tour was a sensory delight. Highly recommend!!!
This particular tour requires you to have prior e-biking experience to have the endurance to go up and down quite a few hills and navigate some in traffic. I’m almost 60, ride often and had no problems.
Awesome day out, guide Matt was lovely and knowledgeable. Spectacular scenery. However, things to note - if you are not confident riding a bike, this is not for you. Part of the ride is through fairly heavy traffic, the roads are narrow and it is pretty scary for those of us not used to it!! You will need to navigate intersections and traffic lights. You will be on your own, the guide cannot babysit everyone on the road, there isn’t room to all ride together. Some of the hills are also quite steep, going down fast and around corners. In saying that, it’s a long day but not overly strenuous with the electric power. But there is a reasonably amount of fitness required, some effort is needed especially up the hills. Definitely recommend but you want to be prepared for what is in store!
Beautiful ride in electric bike ... Interesting discovery of local heritage Top weather making the tour unforgettable
