Fantasia Dinner Show & Esperienza Immersiva da Agadir/Taghazout

Really good experience, lovely to see authentic performers, food was good - very very large portions so come hungry!

dinner and a show. I was at this show over ten years ago and it has gone down……a lot. This was very much sold as a horse show with lots of other acts. In reality we were met at the door by a horse that was foaming at the mouth, very disturbing as an animal lover. Then the dinner which was ok but certainly no better than what was on offer at the hotel for free. Then the “entertainment” during the meal was some lads with tambourines and the highlight was man who could……..do a tumble on the ground. Not even a cartwheel or handstand, just a tumble. They came around twice. The show was a disgrace. Horses stood out for 5 minutes at the start, then were ushered off, 3 times they were brought out, rode in a straight line and then had a loud bang let off right next to their ears, and that was that, no horsemanship, no dressage, no nothing. Just riding in a straight line and then scaring the horses. Then there was a poor belly dancer, the add had a woman with LEDs on her shawl making it seem like a thought out show…..no she just danced by herself for a few minutes in basic garb. Arguably the best part was the “acrobats”. A couple of lads held up some another lad and another did a handstand on some chairs. Very basic stuff that I’ve seen done better for free at any numbers of hotels (including other rius) to top it all off I ordered two beers, had to request them 3 times and then had to call the waiter back because he gave them to us with the caps still on, he seemed kind of shocked that we wanted them open, I’ve booked a boat trip tomorrow; based on the quality of this we are not going to waste our time going even though we paid for it, this is a disgrace. Had an enjoyable time but was a bit of long day. Good communication from the team prior to pickup. Then was collected by Hisham at 7 pm and we got to location for 8pm. All staff were incredibly helpful and it very organised set up. Dinner is served from around 8.30 pm to 11.30 pm that includes some entertainment by way of folk song and dance. Dinner consisted of Moroccan salad, variety of samosas, chicken couscous and pastilla desert. You have to pay for drinks yourself . Then at 11.30 pm the main show starts and this was incredible snd entertaining horse riders, acrobats, fire dancers , belly dancers - this was best part. The show ended around 12.30 pm and we were back at hotel at 1.30 pm. Positive : Staff, Dinner and Fantasia show. Areas to improve : Dinner took a bit too long , some of our group were tired / bored by time main show started . No drinks included. Male toilets were broken and didn’t flush.

Exceptional evening. Dishes from Moroccan cuisine with abundance like at home, songs and dances from folklore, and the top of the fantasia, the tbourida, all in a festive atmosphere.

Very good and hearty dinner, good show but not enough lighting outside, too dark unfortunately. It would be necessary to plan for better lighting during the show.

Timely pickup in a minivan that collects other people from different hotels. Majestic welcome with music. Dinner in huge Berber tents, at tables with three different groups of dancers moving from tent to tent during dinner between courses. The meal is generous, with Moroccan salad of raw vegetables, then Birouates (stuffed brick pastry) with four different flavors, then tagine, and finally pastilla. Tea and pastries are served outside during the show. The show tells a story featuring acrobats, fire breathers, a belly dancer, and three segments of the famous Fantasia. It ends around midnight. Return with the same minivan that drops everyone off at their hotel. The price of €60 is the maximum in my opinion. For my part, I negotiated it in Agadir for much less (46€/person, but it also depends on the season, I think). There are plenty of small agencies that offer it as well as other activities (buggy, quad in the desert, excursion to Taroudant, excursion to the oasis valley, jet ski, etc.).

The show is to be avoided. The horses are mistreated. The excursion is not worth its price. However, the food is very good.

Very nice evening, very warm welcome, staff at the top, smiling, at the care of everyone. Very pro level service, explanations, Nice show at the door. I strongly advise you to visit. Thank you to my darling for giving me a culturally rich evening.

Very nice dinner show with great food, fire, acrobatics and history of Morocco 🥰

Yesterday evening we have been in Chems Ajour; delicious Maroccan food in an authentic environment; service was perfect! The live shows are very good, especially the final show; a 40 minutes during, spectacular journey through Marocco! Our children also enjoyed it very much; We”ll be back!!
