Visita Piazza della Signoria, un'altra piazza iconica di Firenze, in Italia, situata vicino al fiume Arno. È stato il centro politico e sociale della città nel corso della sua storia ed è circondato da numerosi edifici e statue degni di nota. Ecco alcuni punti salienti di Piazza della Signoria: Loggia dei Lanzi: questa galleria di sculture all'aperto si trova accanto a Palazzo Vecchio. Presenta una collezione di statue impressionanti, tra cui il "Perseo con la testa di Medusa" di Benvenuto Cellini e il "Ratto delle Sabine" di Giambologna. Replica della statua del David: una replica della famosa statua del David di Michelangelo si trova in Piazza della Signoria, vicino all'ingresso di Palazzo Vecchio. La statua originale fu spostata alla Galleria dell'Accademia per proteggerla da eventuali danni. Fontana del Nettuno: Situata all'estremità meridionale della piazza, questa fontana presenta una grande statua in marmo di Nettuno circondata da varie creature marine e figure mitologiche.
Questo palazzo-fortezza medievale è il punto focale della piazza. Per secoli è stata la sede del governo fiorentino e ora funge da municipio. Il palazzo è adornato con imponenti opere d'arte e sculture rinascimentali, tra cui opere di Michelangelo e Donatello.
Risalente al 1290 questa chiesa è una delle più insolite di Firenze presente come una piazza quasi perfetta con decorazioni gotiche in marmo.

If we could give our guide, Aldo, 10/5 we would. He was kind, considerate and super knowledgeable. The walk through Florence was amazing as were the Medici Chapels. This was our best tour in Florence by far. Highly recommended.

Wonderful walking trip through Florence. From Pza Signoria sights, Ponte Vecchio, Pza Republica, San Lorenzo crypt and the Medici chapel to Central Mercado and many special sights and insights along the way. Antonio was incredibly well versed in Italian history and Florentine/Tuscany history which made our walk interesting! We highly recommend this tour!
