L'isola di Dveepvattika o Divar come la conosciamo attualmente, è l'unica grande isola di Goa non collegata dalla strada. Fiancheggiata dalla Vecchia Goa e da Ribandar, quest'isola un tempo ospitava famosi templi di Goa tra cui il Tempio di Saptkoteshwar, divinità di famiglia dei Kadamba. L'esplorazione dell'isola di Divar ti mostrerà le gemme storiche dell'isola e gli splendidi paesaggi panoramici insieme ad essa. Visitiamo i monumenti cristiani, le antiche rovine di un tempio e assistiamo anche a un bellissimo tramonto su un divertente giro in barca attraverso il fiume. Feni è sempre stato parte integrante della cultura Goan. In questo tour ti regaliamo un'esperienza di degustazione in una taverna locale! Nota: Questo non è un sentiero. Il trasporto sarebbe necessario per coprire internamente i punti tra il sentiero. Consigliamo di utilizzare lo stesso mezzo che si passa per l'intero sentiero. What a wonderful tour! Atul was the perfect guide. His storytelling and describing things was so engaging.
Exploring history felt completely different with such an incredible tour guide leading the way. Every monument, street, and hidden corner came alive through fascinating stories, lesser-known facts, and engaging narration that made the past feel real and unforgettable. Had the most amazing experience!! Divar Island tour Koonan was extra special. He's the coolest guide we could ever get. The information he provided and the he way conveyed was the amazing. A good mix art, culture and fun. The tour ended with snacks and Feni tasting which was highlight of the trip. A sundowner trip on a boat with Amrut around Vanxim island was too good!

Amazing experience at Divar Island . Been to Goa many times but this time could experience old heritage and culture . Great river ride on the Mandovi . Could see beautiful mangroves , birds and 2 huge crocodiles very closely. Our Guide Atul knew the region very well and ended up the tour with fresh snacks and some different Feni. Highly recommended to explore different experiences of Soul Travellers. .
Explored Divar Island with Daksh and had an incredible experience. The boat ride was beautiful, and we spotted so many unique bird species along the way. Daksh shared fascinating history about each place we visited, which made the journey even more meaningful. Enjoyed delicious riverside snacks, and the highlight was spotting a crocodile in its natural habitat!
A big thank you to our tour guide Leane for an absolutely amazing Divar Island experience. She shared fascinating insights about the old Portuguese houses, so many details that I personally wasn’t aware of, which really brought the island’s history to life. Leane was also extremely knowledgeable about the tides and planned the boat ride perfectly for bird and crocodile spotting. Every detail was thoughtfully handled. Overall, a wonderful experience, thank you to Leane and Soul Travelling for making it so memorable!
Had an excellent experience at Divar with Leanne! Very thoughtfully curated at a beautiful site - and was great to learn about the centuries of history packed into this island.
