We couldn't visit Jonny Cay because it was closed. The excursion to the Aquarium was excellent. And the guides were excellent too. I am not giving 5 stars because of the Jhony Cay situation, although it is not the agency's fault.
We were put in the wrong excursion. We paid to go to Acuario, Johnny Cay and pass by two places and we only went to Acuario and finished 3 hours before we were supposed to.
The Good: The islands themselves are beautiful, and the actual tour guides were very nice. The Bad: The organization and constant upselling ruined the experience. To start, they tell you to arrive by 8:30 AM, but the representative didn't even show up until 8:45 AM. Even though you’ve already paid for the excursion, they nickel-and-dime you from beginning to end: The Coral Reef Trap: They start by quoting exaggerated prices to see the coral reef (which you can’t even really see). Then, they drop the price to 10,000 COP per person and ask who wants to go. Even if you say no, if the majority of the group votes yes, you are forced to pay for it anyway. Overpriced Rental Gear: When you get to the aquarium, they offer snorkel masks for 20,000 COP, claiming they will cost more once you get to the island. That's a lie—when you arrive at the island, the exact same masks are offered for 10,000 COP. On top of that, the masks they actually provide are in horrible condition. Aggressive Sales Pitches: At every single island stop, they tell you that you must follow a specific person to hear "important information." In reality, this person just holds you hostage for 15 minutes trying to sell you something else. Final Verdict: It is an exhausting money grab from beginning to end. Incredible scenery, but be prepared to constantly defend your wallet.
It is an unforgettable experience, you know all the places they describe on the tour and additional tell you that for paying $10,000 p/p they take you to see the Barrier Reef (very nice). Recommended. The guides (Christian, Juan) and Marlon the lifeguard, were super formal, we evidenced that they really know their island from all the knowledge they shared with us, the guide Juan took some photos with GoPro underwater in the aquarium, I recommend paying for the photo package🤩
We loved the experience. The landscape is sublime!! Good organization, the guides give you all the tourist explanation of each sector visited. They offer to take aquatic photos for 50,000 cop for families of 4 and take you to the coral barrier to see them for 10,000 cop per person. The mangroves the sighting is quite far away but the explanation is very good. Recommended.

The places are amazing. Although at the time we went there were many people. You couldn't walk. The boat guide was very friendly and charismatic. However, the “guide” that greeted us at Johnny Cay was the opposite. Ever since we got off the boat we met Anthony, a guy screaming from minute 1, bordering on violent; treating tourists badly and even his colleagues who distributed orders on the tables. It was really exhausting to share space with him, as we ended up stressed and with a headache with his screaming and violent attitude. We even wonder if he was under the influence of any drug, really unexplained his behavior.
Lamentamos profundamente este percance, desafortunadamente estamos sujetos y amarrados a los guías de planta que tiene Jhony Cay, ellos no trabajan con nosotros sino son los que reciben a los pasajeros en el cayo y se encargan de la logística, muchos demuestran poco sentido de pertenencia, esperamos que pronto se tomen medidas ya son muchas las inconformidades por este mal recibimiento. Esperamos comprensión ya que es una situación que se nos sale de las manos.
I bought the activity for December 21, 2023 at 09:00 but Morgans Tours canceled it, the reason was because the authorities prohibited maritime activities that day due to bad weather, something completely understandable. The problem is that I have been trying to make the return for 4 months and they don't even respond to the email, much less the phones. I quote from your voucher "100% REFUND for bad weather or cancellation of the FULL TOUR". I do not recommend this company at all, or hiring for this type of activity online.

Hola, tu experiencia va encaminada a la isla y al abandono que actualmente se encuentra por parte del gobierno de turno, créeme que es triste que aun hay algunos pocos nativos que no valoran la maravillas De Dios y otros que se aprovechan para beneficio propio, seguiremos aportando como empresa hacia la transformación social y convertir a la isla de san Andres en un destino turístico por excelencia.
