Partiamo più tardi per farti dormire fino a tardi, evitare la folla e vedere il tramonto alla fine del tour. Iniziamo con lo snorkeling a Hol Chan e Shark Ray Alley. Hol Chan ha la più grande varietà di specie da vedere nella zona ed è spesso paragonata a un acquario, mentre a Shark Ray Alley puoi sperimentare un incontro ravvicinato con squali nutrice e razze. Guarda dalla barca o nuota con loro! Serviamo quindi il nostro famoso pranzo a buffet del Belize a bordo. Piatti tradizionali come pollo in umido e riso e fagioli con la ricetta segreta del nostro Capitano Pesce alla griglia! Dopo pranzo, ci fermiamo alla vicina isola Caye Caulker per ca. 1 ora di tempo libero per esplorare l'isola, seguita da una rilassante crociera al tramonto per tornare a San Pedro, con il ceviche servito. Il ritiro non è incluso. Partiamo dal molo del Palapa Bar e ci incontriamo lì 15 minuti prima della partenza. Quindi il viaggio verso la riserva marina di Hol Chan dura 45 minuti, mentre ti sdrai su comodi cuscini godendoti l'oceano, i panorami e il sole, accompagnato da drink e musica.
Hol Chan in Maya significa "piccolo canale" ed è un'interruzione naturale nella barriera corallina, che è sempre stata una zona di pesca molto produttiva con un'abbondante vita marina. È aperto sul mare oltre la barriera corallina, quindi consente alle creature marine di viaggiare dall'esterno della barriera corallina all'interno e viceversa. È diventata la prima riserva marina dell'intero paese del Belize nel 1987 e questo ha portato la specie a rigenerarsi e i coralli a crescere illesi. Questa zona per lo snorkeling ha la più grande varietà di vita marina e corallo, rispetto ad essere uno "zoo sottomarino": hai la possibilità di vedere tutti i tipi di coralli, pesci e persino tartarughe marine! Nella zona sono state registrate oltre 160 specie di pesci e quaranta tipi di coralli. Lo snorkeling qui è minimo 45 minuti.
La storia dietro Shark Ray Alley è che in ogni momento, a causa della sua posizione vicino al canale per uscire dalla barriera corallina protettiva per la pesca, è stato il punto in cui i pescatori locali sono entrati con il loro pescato e hanno iniziato a pulirlo - lanciando il testa, ecc. nell'acqua. Questo lo ha convertito in un'abitudine naturale per la vita marina come gli squali nutrice e le razze che associano il suono di un motore al cibo. L'acqua è bassa e trasparente e vedrai gli squali nutrice e le razze in superficie, il che significa che anche se non entri in acqua puoi godertela anche dalla barca! Gli squali nutrice e le razze alla fine nuotano via, ma la sosta è di almeno 20 minuti.
Caye Caulker è proprio come immagini un'autentica isola caraibica e un bel contrasto con la più sviluppata Ambergris Caye. Dagli anni '60 il turismo è cresciuto lentamente sull'isola, ma ha mantenuto la sua atmosfera tranquilla e rilassata, con il motto "Go Slow". Wow what an experience!! Anna and Captain Charlie made the day trip amazing! From the time we got on the boat we felt so welcome and safe! Anna kept the drinks flowing and Charlie got us to all of our destinations. And guided us snorkeling through Hol Chan, seeing sharks, eels, and so many different fish and coral. Shark Ally was unreal! The food and drinks served were delicious! I would recommend this trip to anyone! Thanks for a WICKED day to Anna and Charlie!
An amazing full day of fun, food and drink. Anna and Charlie took excellent care of us, including my injured mother who couldn’t snorkel. The photos were a bonus and the food was the best meals we had! My kids agreed. A wonderful experience for our extended family; Anna and Charlie are wonderful people and we enjoyed every minute. Thank you for a wicked time!!
Seamless experience! We saw so much wildlife - rays, sharks, lobster, sea turtles, and so many types of fish! The guides were so nice and even pulled my 7 year old along on a ring so he could relax. We had so much fun!
This experience was so much fun!! Anna and Captain Charlie were the perfect hosts to our adventure. We lucked up and didn't have to share the boat with any other guests, which made the sailing even more special. We always felt safe in the water and on the boat. We saw so many sea creatures!!! It was by far one of the coolest experiences. Drinks were flowing, the meal was good but the ceviche was PERFECT. The only thing I wished is that we were able to stay in the water longer but I understand they have to follow reef rules. Because of this experience, I will always go snorkeling on a trip if it's an option.
Wow what an amazing time, all crew members were amazing! The boat was relaxing and there’s nice comfortable lounge chairs. Food was 10/10. And the snorkeling was beautiful!!! Anna was my tour guide and she was fun, pointing out different stuff for us to see! Seriously all crew on this charter were AMAZING!
I was communicating with Linda a few days before my scheduled tour because of the weather. She was able to accommodate me and allowed me to change my tour date since I was a party of one. I am extremely appreciative and I had a great time on the tour. I would recommend this to anyone!
Great all day excursion. The team was very attentive and even took photos of our group throughout the trip. They provide some really good food and accommodated all allergies we had. As many rum punches as you could ask for too, we just recommend waiting until after snorkeling. Really enjoyed the snorkeling and the guides had great information about the marine life and the parks themselves.
Was a lot of fun and they made sure everyone was safe on boat and in the water.
This tour was awesome, best one we did in Belize. Charlie, Anna, and Camilla were awesome. Super friendly and served us like royalty.
The overall day was great. We had a great crew with Charlie, Anna, and one more person who's name has slipped my mind. The crew was very energetic and funny. What I appreciated the most was the drinks and food. They provided a real lunch that was cooked. They were very knowledgable about our environment and I didn't feel rushed at all. We took our time and relaxed and having that time to explore Cay Cayuer was perfect. The overall timing was just right and not having to meet up until 1130 was a definate plus. I would highly recommend this tour 100 times over.
