Everest Base Camp Trek

I was in Nepal from the 17 to 27 March 2026 for the Everest View Trek. It was my first time in Nepal and my guide was Urja Tamang . He was at Kathmandu airport to receive me when I arrived. Our trek commenced with a flight to Lukla from Kathmandu on the Twin Otter plane . We then trekked from Lukla to Namche Bazaar over the next few days . From Namche we went up to view Mt Everest at the Everest View Hotel. We then travelled by helicopter to Kala Patthar to have a closer view of Mt Everest before travelling back by helicopter to Lukla. It was an amazing experience for me , a first time trekker in Nepal. Urja was a tremendous guide with his experience and excellent organisation. He was patient and guided me all along . The hotels and guest houses were good and I got to taste much Nepalese food . I truly am grateful to Urja who made my first trip to the Himalayas so enjoyable and successful. Thank you Urja . I full recommend Urja to future Himalayan trekkers . He is excellent, reliable, experienced and caring .

Mr. Urja's service was excellent from beginning to end. Both I and my partner, who have experience in these services, had never encountered this logistical precision. You pay the price but throughout the trip we did not have to worry about anything. We did the EBC and Australian Camp trekking with him, in addition he organized other visits suitable for our spiritual concerns about the country and stays in places as special as Bhaktapur. He answered all our curiosities and experiences and carried them out in an excellent way ... Without a doubt, this makes our experience in Nepal very enriching and emotionally very positive. We will return with Mr. Urja without a doubt.

This is our second journey to Nepal, and this time it was for the Everest Base Camp (EBC) trek. We want to express our sincere thanks to Mr. Urja from Alliance Adventure for organizing an incredible trip. Our guide, Aashish, was absolutely lovely person. He took such great care of all of us, incredibly patience in answering our questions and constantly advising us to take slow steady steps as we made our way to the base camp. He ensure everything was ready for us at the end of each day. Aashish always carries essential medications for any issues like AMS or diarrhoea. On top of all that, he’s a good photographer, capturing beautiful moments of us with the stunning mountain views. We had a really positive overall experience with Alliance Adventure.

This is our second trip to Nepal and we did EBC this time. From the moment we landed till we are meeting the founder (Urja) tonight, everything was taken care of perfectly. Our guide Ashish was just the best; the most encouraging and patient. He answers all our questions relentlessly and helped organise everything from food to accommodation with immense care. Urja and team, u guys are the best!!!! When we come back for other treks, it will be only with you.

These guys are awesome. Ashish is the guide we had and what a guide he was. Very patient, just kept telling us to go slow. Everytime there’s a meal time he does everything for us. Made us feel like kings. Took care of every need . Asked us if we wanted anything else and we never had this kind of experience before. We went to Annapurna circuit and were shortchanged with the service badly with another agency. We were referred to this agency by a friend and met Urja and he briefed us on what to expect in detail. And executed it so very well. Please do not hesitate to choose this guys in your trekking. Thank you for making this a best experience we ever had.

It was our first time in Nepal and trekking to EBC and we did not know what to expect. The itinerary was well planned (spread out) and we were well taken care of from the time we landed in Kathmandu until the time we left. Although the trek to EBC was tough (for me at least), our guide Ashish was very attentive to our needs and looked after us well - from advising us on what to eat, drink and even wear! He was very patient with us although we were very slow, and always stopped to take photos. We were always comfortable around him and felt assured that he would take care of us. Our porters, Nimesh and Ram, were also very nice and helpful throughout the trek, even offering to carry our backpacks when they saw we were quite tired. All in all, it was fantastic, and I am definitely looking forward to more treks with them.

When reflecting on our incredible journey to Everest Base Camp, I can't help but commend the fantastic team of allianceadventure company that made it all possible. Their expertise in organizing safe and unforgettable trips, the knowledgeable guides who enriched our experience, and the exceptional customer service they provided every step of the way truly set them apart. Their dedication to ensuring a smooth and enjoyable trek was evident in every aspect of our adventure. It's safe to say that our expedition wouldn't have been the same without their outstanding support and professionalism. Shout out to the incredible team - Ashish our guide! My second time with Alliance Adventure and it was amazing in every way. The whole experience was managed the best it could be, with professional guides and porters who were helpful, kind and fun! Cannot wait to go back to Nepal with Alliance Adventure again. The service is always personal and inviting, Without our guide, we wouldn't have made it up Kala Patthar or indeed anywhere else.
