Maya Bay è una baia incredibilmente bella che è riparata da scogliere alte 100 metri su tre lati. All'interno della baia ci sono diverse spiagge, la maggior parte sono piccole e alcune esistono solo con la bassa marea. Il principale è lungo circa 200 metri con sabbia bianca e setosa, coralli colorati sottomarini e pesci esotici in acque eccezionalmente limpide; l'intera baia è una grande scogliera.
Come le altre isole dell'arcipelago, Phi Phi Don è un'isola non vulcanica in gran parte fatta di calcare. È quasi separato in due isole, ma un filo di terra piatta le collega. Su questo filo si trova il più grande insediamento dell'isola, così come la maggior parte dei resort.
Viking Cave è uno dei siti più importanti di Koh Phi Phi Leh. Situato nella parte inferiore di un'alta scogliera calcarea sul lato nord-orientale dell'isola. Conosciuta come Tham Phaya Nak in tailandese, la grotta vichinga deve il suo nome ai dipinti trovati sulle pareti meridionali orientali della caverna: rappresentano vari tipi di barche, incluso quello che ricorda un drakkar scandinavo. Questi dipinti sono certamente piuttosto recenti e probabilmente sono stati realizzati da marinai che si rifugiano nella grotta durante una tempesta.

This trip was good. The staff were kind and helpful but it wasn’t a comfortable ride in the ferry. We opted for 1st class which were a sort of recliner shape seat but did not l have the comfort of a recliner nor did it recline. For a little over 2 hour ride one way, this was not a good choice. Nevertheless, seeing the beautiful Phi Phi Long Island was amazing. I wish we had more than 2 hours on the island. Waking up and traveling that early, I think more than a couple of mini croissants and a small slice of some chocolate sort of cake should’ve been offered. It we were grateful nonetheless. The lunch was really good and my husband is extremely picky. We had the best fruit smoothies right next to the Resturant where we ate lunch on the island. We had a transfer of boats which was pretty cool and easy to do at sea. The transport that picked us up from the hotel was on time and comfortable however the van going back was extremely uncomfortable to the point that my legs hurt once I got off from being so crushed. The guide was knowledgeable and we leaned a lot. There was a little confusion with some travelers that brought suitcases for overnight lodging at one do the islands. Overall I was glad that we took the excursion but it was an extremely long day spent traveling.

Worst experiences, food shortage happened for lunch which can be considered as unexpected error but no snookling which was part of event is not acceptable , no travel guide could help us in any way, totally unorganized, all from different travell company booking was clubbed into one boat.

Had a great experience. The entire crew/staff were knowledgeable and attentive. Did the snorkeling off the longboat and totally recommend. The current started kicking in due to an unexpected storm, but it was still a great day. Vegetarian options at the island buffet as well, so that was a plus.

Went from Patong to Phi Phi Island. Phi Phi is below expectations and nothing new to see. Whole day was wasted. Would have spent the day in Phuket in much better way. Ferry was excellent. Bought Gold VIP seats and fully enjoyed.

Pick up was on time. Absolute pleasure on the ferry to Ko Phi Phi (Premium Class). Wellworth the extra money just for the air conditioning alone. Speed boat allowed us to cover lots of areas in a short amount of time. Lunch was superb with the only problem being that it was too much....but that's not a problem! Return to Phuket included complimentary beers which was a nice touch to complete the day. Highly recommended!

Out of eight hours of excursion 5 are travel (a + r), landed on the island we had two and a half hours (including buffet lunch) to stay on the beach.... we did not snorkel (even not enticed by the guide who advised us not to do it if we were not good swimmers, as there is an accident a day😱 and the time to enjoy the beach would have been practically zero) Not to mention the noisy typical boats that continue to run in front of the beach .. I highly recommend another type of excursion! Mirko
Clearly the writer of this ‘Review’ did not book the type of tour he/she was wanting to do and did no research before making the booking. The 2star rating is based on the writer having the wrong expectations for the tour and not on the tour itself. Customer obviously did not realise that the Phi Phi Islands at 40kms from Phuket. This tour is for the FERRY to Phi Phi Islands (and return) with some time for snorkeling and a brief stop at Phi Phi Don Island. (I think the customer saw the name Phi Phi in the tour name and figured that meant 8hours on Phi Phi!) . We have speedboat tours out to Phi Phi Island, should that be what the traveller wishes. But many people do find this ferry trip excellent value for money and just what they are looking for (having done the research beforehand). We booked this with Viator and the agent I Asia contacted us to let us know we had a pick up included and also the time. The guide Julie was on time meeting us in the Hotel. We then picked up another 2 passengers and drove to the Pier. The boat to Phi Phi first stop was about 90 minutes and we sat in first class. This is a MUST DO for anyone travelling to Phuket. Snorkelling amongst the tropical fish was the highlight for us both and we had a hearty lunch of Thai food which was excellent. This was excellent value for money but the service from I Asia was outstanding that we also booked our return transfer back to the Airport

What an amazing experience..from the hotel pickup to the ferry to the trip over and snorkelling on phi phi island..Everything was absolutely perfect..the buffet lunch was very good too...The staff on the ferry on the ferry were so helpful throughout the day..i would highly recommend paying a little more and opt for premium class for that extra luxury and comfort to and from the island. Highly recommend and we booked with our I Asia guide in Phuket.

The ferry trip to Phi Phi is over is 2 hours so we paid the extra 200 Baht and sat in first class. A definite must do! Free drinks and goodies not to mention lots of room to stretch out and sleep during the trip over. Phi Phi by ferry is relaxing and a great way to see these beautiful islands. The lunch at Phi Phi was exceptional and the snorkelling off shore was really fun and an experience not to be missed! I Asia Thailand were exceptional and their guide jacky was a credit to the company!
