The Shala River was one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited in Albania. The crystal-clear turquoise water and the surrounding mountains create an incredible landscape that almost doesn't look real. The boat ride to the river was an experience on its own, offering breathtaking views of Komani Lake. Once we arrived, there was plenty of time to swim, relax, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The water is quite cold, even in summer, but it's refreshing and definitely worth it. There is also no admission fee, making the experience even more enjoyable. A special thanks to our driver, Aleksandri, who made the whole journey smooth from start to finish. The road to the departure point can be challenging, but he drove safely, kept us constantly updated with all the information we needed, and made sure everything went according to plan. His electric taxi, Gold Taxi, was very comfortable and made the trip even more enjoyable. My tip is to arrive early, bring water shoes because of the rocky shoreline, and pack sunscreen and enough water. If you enjoy nature and want to escape the crowds of the city, this is a destination you shouldn't miss. Overall, an unforgettable experience with stunning scenery, excellent organization, and a perfect day in nature. I would happily visit again.

We had a great excursion day with friends which was well taken care of by Gold Taxi. Our driver/guide was a reliable man who picked us up on time from the hotel, car ride through the mountains with music, air conditioning and fine conversations to the boat.
