Very interesting tour. Cairan was our guide and had tons of interesting stories, pictures and even videos to illustrate what life was like during the Cold War.

Ciaran was an exceptional guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the wall and presented meaningful anecdotes and personal information.

This was easily one of the best walking tours I’ve ever done. It’s a fantastic way to learn about Berlin’s history and orientation, as the tour covers a few key areas around the city, making it especially useful for anyone who has just arrived. Our guide, Cairan, was insightful, using individual personal stories that truly brought the history to life and articulated what people experienced at the time. Highly recommended!

This is a comprehensive and well-explained overview of the history of how the Cold War developed in Berlin and Germany, and how and why the wall was built. Our very engaging guide Cairan showed us key places in Berlin related to the Wall, and explained its history and how the East German government prevented their people from fleeing. A very interesting 3.5 hour walking tour; highly recommend.

Cairan as an excellent guide as we toured several key locations related to the Cold War and the building and then fall of the Berlin Wall. He provided excellent context and responded clearly and patiently to participant questions. This tour is very informative and provides good value for money too. This is a walking tour.

This is an exceptionally informative and fascinating tour that is focussed on the Berlin Wall (though our guide Ciaran was a font of knowledge about Berlin’s broader history). He is an astoundingly knowledgeable and interesting guide and very skilled at maintaining his group’s interest. 3.5 hours is a long tour and I was constantly engaged. I’d recommend this tour to anyone with an interest in history.

Very nice tour gave a lot of history before WW 2 as well after, Wasn’t expecting to pay for train , would have expected to have included with the cost of the tour.

Paul was an amazing host and tour guide. The morning we spent with him gave us incredible insight into the development of Berlin and a much deeper understanding of how the Wall shaped both the city and the people who lived there. His firsthand knowledge and perspective really brought the history to life and made the experience far more meaningful than simply visiting the sights on our own. He did a fantastic job creating a walking tour that evolved along with the changing city, helping us understand Berlin’s history as we moved through it. His knowledge added so much context to everything we saw and made the morning both interesting and memorable. We enjoyed the experience so much that we have recommended this tour to multiple friends. Wear comfortable shoes, but the walk itself is easy and filled with amazing sights throughout.
