Exciting adventure

This is the perfect tour if you love learning about Costa Rican wildlife and want a sense of adventure as well. My tour guide, Adrian, is a well-informed naturalist that knew exactly where to look for different types of nocturnal creatures. We got to see spiders, hermit crabs, insects, and even sloths. I was so excited to see both species (two and three-toed sloths) and learned things I didn’t know before. I will definitely book another tour with Adrian next time I’m in the area!

Great night hike

Adrian was a great guide for our night hike. Unfortunately, it hadn’t rained for several days, so there weren’t as many animals as we had hoped. But Adrian was still able to show us quite a few animals and teach us about different aspects of the jungle.

A must-do activity

Adrián was literally the best. Nature decides what she’ll show on each tour, but we saw a ton and had a great time. We saw frogs, a needle fish, a caiman, tarantulas, spiders, and a bulldog bat at the end. Adrian was full of information and passion for his work and was wonderful company as well. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.

Really great tour, but recommend booking a private tour if possible.

I had done this tour the year prior with my daughter, this time I brought my son. Somehow we managed to get a private tour the first time around and it was a far better experience. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and because there weren't sooooo many people present we saw so many more animals. If you can, I highly recommend booking a private tour. My trip this second time around was a bit chaotic with people showing up late and it was just generally too loud so anything interesting was scared off.

A different and exciting way to experience the jungle

We loved our night hike through the jungle! It was both exciting and informative; we saw many critters in the dark and experienced a moment of almost total darkness in the primary forest. Definitely add it to your list of things to do!

Great experience

The tour with our guide was great. He is very knowledgeable and has a trained look to see and identify the animals. Without him, we probably wouldn't have discovered a single animal. It was a great experience and I can recommend it to anyone.

Great Experience

Definitely worth it if you are in the area! We went after a heavy rain day so it was muddy but that wasn’t a problem! We saw multiple snakes, various insects, scorpions, and more! Really cool experience, bring flashlight/headlamp if you want a really bright one so you can really see what’s in the trees.
