Excellent tour and experience. Siri was an excellent host and very knowledgeable! I would definitely recommend this trip for an ethical experience with the Thai elephants
From the beginning of the tour, it is clear just how well-cared for the elephants are. It’s so amazing to observe the elephants and hear their stories. Siri was a fantastic guide; answering questions, giving clear information, caring for her tour party and even showing us how to cook. She made the experience even more special.
Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. We got to be close to elephants without any fear of the treatment they’ve had to endure to allow it. The best kind of eco tourism. Watching them bathe and hand feeding them was really special. Learning their stories and the wonderful guide, Siri, was the icing on the cake. Thank you Bukit for a special morning making the best memories and a very good lunch 😊
What a great experience! Well organized, friendly stuff, beatiful grounds. And off course it was amazing to see the elephants up close and feed them bananas. All the elephants are rescue so its great to see they get a chance at second life and free of chains. Very highly recommended trip.
Overall extremely enjoyable experience. The activity was 3 hours, you got a little introduction, fed bananas to the elephants, walked with them and then met them. The guide Jammie was so lovely and fun. She kept us safe and informed. You could feel the love the staff have for elephants. You could take pictures with the elephants, and as solo traveller really appreciated that the staff took my photos. The park is quite pretty, and there is a lot of joy. The groups started larger, after the walk around we branched off into smaller groups for our specific activities. The lunch provided was really good! I would book this again!! They are as advertised, elephant care first! So no riding, no bathing, no tricks. Though the princess put on a good show, when she bathed in the pool. It was really magical to get to spend time with elephants and learn about all 8 of them.
This reserve does an amazing job looking after rescue elephants. You get told about the individual elephants, what happened to the. & their personalities. We chose this park because It is ethical, the needs of these beautiful animals come 1st Elephants can be fed and photos can be taken with them but they can’t be touched. You get to follow the elephants around the reserve and after learning about rubber farming, you’re given a delicious lunch. The reserve is a charity and receives no funding. We had a lovely morning & are so glad we supported this wonderful cause.
Great to see elephants in a sanctuary setting, to learn about them as individuals, interact with them in a more respectful way and contribute to their on going care. Lunch was great too.
A really nice, small park with great guide. The elephants are so calm and happy and you come really close. Nice lunch included, all in all a great experience just 20 min from Kata.
Beautiful experience and a great lunch. It was great to hear about the rescues. Knowing that the cost go towards keeping them in practice to be able to take care and expand was well worth the admission fee. I do wish there were separate groups for families with children but nonetheless still great.
Lauren and I attended this tour, and we had the most majestic and amazing time. The team truly showcased warmth, hospitality, and a genuine ethic of care for the animals. We chose the package that included food, and it was so good—definitely made with love. Our tour guide was funny and very knowledgeable. What a time! Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
