Esperienza gastronomica locale unica sulle colline sopra Budva

Descrizione

What a wonderful evening exploring Montenegro’s culture and heritage! Our guide, Petar, was exceptionally kind, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing the country’s history. We loved learning about each monastery, hearing the stories behind them, and admiring their beautiful architecture and religious significance. To top off an already incredible evening, we enjoyed a fantastic homemade meal at a charming 200-year-old stone home nestled in the hills above Budva. Our host, Rajko, was just as warm and welcoming. He gave us a tour of his beautiful garden, shared his homemade wine, and treated us to breathtaking views that made the experience even more memorable. This tour was the perfect combination of history, culture, hospitality, authentic local cuisine, amazing wine and of course rakija !! We highly, highly recommend it to anyone visiting Montenegro!
Dear Lisa, it was a great pleasure meeting you and your family. I really hope we would have the opportunity to meet again in the future. Cheers! 🍷
Please don't tell anyone because this was one of the most amazing cultural experiences we've ever had and we need to keep it secret. Peter and Rico team together to give you an unforgettable experience. Amazing monasteries, incredible food, and off the chain experience. Let's keep it our secret so we can do it over and over. This was Off The Chain!!!
A completely singular experience, truly so unique and authentic. We felt like we got to know the real Montenegro, just completely surpassed our expectations. Can’t recommend enough!
It was my pleasure :) Hope you will come back and we will have a chance to visit more of what Montenegro has to offer. Till our next meeting, cheers! 🥃
I can't explain how amazing and lovely this event was. Petar is such a wonderful person and amazing human being full of knowledge and history about Budva. The people he introduced us to are all lovely people and the experience is beyond words. It was a memory that we will cherish forever. Thank you!
Dear Joseph, I am so grateful that I met you and your wife. It was such a pleasure spending time with you and I really hope we will have the opportunity to meet again. Big cheers from my wife and me! 🥃
The most lovely authentic informative experience. An afternoon spent with beautiful people enjoying homegrown food and local drinks whilst we learn about life in Montenegro. 100% recommend if you are visiting Montenegro you won’t be disappointed
This is a mist do activity if you are visiting! My adult daughter and I spent a few days at the coast. This was a great experience of local culture and history. Visiting the authentic home in the hills/country was more than we expected! Peter answered every question we had and taught us so much more about the history of Montenegro. The monasteries were enlightening and the small winery was run by a fabulous host. We learned so much about the everyday life of the locals.
Petar was an amazing guide, I loved the whole concept. Authentic heartwarming experience out of the ordinary. I highly recommend this for those that are looking for a unique experience to remember! Thank you so much!
Petar the guide makes it feel so welcoming and explains everything. It was a lovely experience and unqiue experience. The local household host was very welcoming and generous. If you really want to feel like a local this is the best tour you can take.
For those who don't like to follow the crowds and prefer an experience over a guided coach tour then this is for you. From the point of booking, Petar kept in contact to keep us informed of when & where we would be picked up (which was just outside our hotel) & was very accommodating in changing the date when one of us wasn't well enough to go on the date booked. From the point at which he picked us up late afternoon in his air conditioned car (small but comfortable & nippy on the mountain roads!) he delivered information in a friendly & informative way, happy to break off and answer any questions we had. Be prepared for a 10-15 minute walk to reach the fortress at the first stop on some uneven ground but this is offset in the knowledge that you are following one of the oldest trails in the country & the stop provides fantastic views over Budva. The monastery stop at an orthodox church is a haven of peace and tranquility & again stunning views. We then headed down to meet Rajco who is the ultimate host & while his English is limited, Petar happily translates to make sure that all are involved in the conversation, which flowed for the couple of hours we spent there. Rajco's obvious love for the land comes out in his own freshly produced smoked ham & the homegrown salad vegetables, red wine & raikje that accompanied it. A true taste of Montenegro hospitality at its' best, can highly recommend.
If you’re looking for something with a personal touch then this is an unmissable experience. Our guide Petar told us a huge amount about Budva and Montenegro. We visited two monasteries, unique in their tranquility and spirituality and arrived at Rajko's home. Rajko is a wonderful host and a truly lovely man. He provided a delicious meal with his fantastic red wine from his own vineyards. The conversation while watching the fantastic views and tasting Raiko's amazing rakia was wonderful. Thank you Petar and Raiko for a wonderful evening!
