- Come il monte L'Olympus è una passeggiata impegnativa e la sicurezza dei nostri clienti viene sempre al primo posto, le nostre guide mantengono la decisione se i clienti devono effettivamente scalare il picco di Mytikas. Ciò dipenderà sia dalle abilità dei clienti che dalle condizioni meteorologiche. Nel caso della neve, la salita a Mytikas non è possibile.
- Il viaggio inizia e finisce a Litochoro. Per le modalità di viaggio da / per Litochoro o per l'alloggio in Litochoro, vi preghiamo di contattarci.
- Si prega di provare a viaggiare il più leggero possibile; ricorda che devi portare con te tutto ciò che porti su tutti i giorni di cammino.
- Zaino grande e comodo (40-50 litri) con cinghie imbottite e cintura in vita, telaio interno preferito; rivestimento impermeabile raccomandato per mantenere gli indumenti, ecc.
- Robusto, indossato in scarpe da trekking
- Buona cima impermeabile con cappuccio
- Vestiti caldi, sia per le condizioni di giorno ventilate / fredde che per le serate fresche (pile o simili)
- Pantaloncini e pantaloni lunghi per camminare, preferibilmente materiale ad asciugatura rapida (cotone o polycotton non denim)
- Felpe o T-shirt per camminare, almeno una con maniche lunghe e colletto (contro il sole brucia)
- Sacco a pelo in fogli o simile (ad esempio copripiumino), per i pernottamenti in rifugio, anche se saranno disponibili coperte.
- Occhiali da sole, asciugamano, cappello da sole o berretto, crema solare
- Temperino
- Bottiglia d'acqua
- Borsa per il lavaggio e semplice kit di pronto soccorso (cerotti o blister, aspirina o simili, antisettico)
- Fotografi: porta le tue macchine fotografiche
- Torcia (torcia frontale se ne hai una)
- Bastoni da passeggio

It was great hike be honest. I got lucky and was able to reach the main summit, which was just after opening for the season. The final push from Skala to Mytikas was more challenging than I expected, but at the same time I really enjoyed it! My guide Ioannis was good fun and helpful throughout the entire hike. Unfortunately no view from the top because of the clouds, but still a great experience overall!
We did the river trekking in mount olympus, but also the walk with visit of a monastery in meteora and the long hile in the vikos gorge. All very well organized, friendly guides and a nice experience with our family.
Our two day trek up Mt Olympus to Skala peak was epic! The whole experience exceeded our expectations. Communication during our planning was second to none. Adam and Sotiris were professional, engaging and encouraging, they made our comfort and safety their top priority. They were perfect for our family and kept our kids hiking happily for every step of the way. The hike is a perfect combination of both challenges and reward. The pick up was seamless and all the gear was top notch. The lodge has everything you need and more. The views are spectacular, definitely worth it! If you are looking to hike up Mt Olympus, look no more.

The whole team of Greek Adventure was just awesome! Fast reply via mail, flexible offers and doing "the extra mile" for the customers. I also had the possibility to get a Pickup from Thessaloniki. I had a 3 day trip with Giannis. He is an amazing tourguide with lots of empathy. Even if I had a flue we were doing my speed to reach the summit. I'm thankful for the whole team and can recommend to everyone to book your trip via Greek Adventure
Everything was super well organised. The guide was very nice. The hiking round is beautiful. We started at 1250 m and went down to Litochoro.
I had the experience of a lifetime!!! An amazing 3 day Mt. Olympus hike, climbing to the summit of Mytikas, very safely guided by Thanos. I booked the trek via their website and had regular communication and offers of help with flights & transfers etc.. Stelios arranged our meet up and travel to and from Gortsia/Prionia, at the start/end of our trek, just adding to the ease of the experience!! Our hike was well thought out by Thanos, as well as carefully guiding us, he arranged all food and refuge accommodation again making the trek totally stress free. The hike itself was amazing, 1st day is the long steady climb to the summit plateau, with a refuge stop for lunch. 2nd day is the summit climb, which was just incredible, Thanos was exceptional this day, as scary as this climb is, he will confidently get you to the magical Mytikas summit!! We then started our descent and ended the day at another very clean and accommodating refuge, before completing the final descent on the 3rd day. A brilliant, once in a lifetime trek for me, with an excellent company!! I hope Greek Adventure will let me back on another of their treks soon!!

The hike was gorgeous and challenging. A little chilly but not too cold. Food at the huts was hardy servings and delicious. We saw both the sunset and sunrise from the peak.
