Book it! The team at this farm are incredibly friendly and family-oriented. They’ll be happy to assist you with everything from international wire transfers to arranging car service to pick you up from Budapest city center. The homemade truffle food and seasonal beverages were delicious and wonderful. My favorite part was hanging out with the dogs! They are so cute. It’s a family and friend-friendly place, great for everyone. I really hope they don’t go viral to keep the quality up.

I had the most amazing time with the family and more people should visit this truffle farm. We love dogs and so the experience of truffle hunting with the doggies was truly the highlight of the day for me. The hosts were fantastic and the pickup and drop off was smooth. The food cooked by Monika was incredible - from the truffle butter to the crispy duck with truffle mashed potatoes and even the delicious vanilla truffle custard...WOW! Everything tasted sublime. Monika even made us elderflower cordial and the most amazing lavender sparkling drink. We found so many summer truffles thanks to our faithful doggy companions and my son had the best time ever! We will definitely return to this farm. The owners Thomas and Monika are wonderful and Sophi our host was the BEST! We loved dealing with her and planning this tour. The saddest part of the day was saying goodbye to our loving four legged friends. I wanted to take them back with me to Houston! I encourage everyone to visit this farm and support these amazing people!

An absolutely incredible experience, start to finish. The dogs are adorable and fun to work with. The truffle lunch was delicious. Our guide, Sophie, was wonderful, knowledgeable and helpful. I cannot recommend this tour enough. We'll remember this forever. For transport, we rented a car for the day and drove from Budapest.

So out of all the excursions/activities we did from Budapest this was the most fun! My wife and I enjoyed this very much especially if you like dogs. Sofie was did a wonderful job in her intro about the farm, truffle hunting, training, etc. She provided everyone in the group a welcome Palinka drink. My wife and I were paired up with a dog while the group of Danish guys had theirs. We went into the plantation and found some black Burgandy truffles. Amazing how the dogs find them. We went back for an amazing high quality lunch prepared by Monika with unlimited wine. I definitely would recommend this activity. The farm is about 45 minutes to an hr from Budapest. You can drive, do an Uber/ Bolt Taxi, but we preferred to use Sofie’s / the farms private transfer. Transportation can be coordinated with Sofie.

This was one of our very best experiences in Budapest. We learned about the truffle business while running a dog through the truffle farm and digging for summer Burgundy truffles. The industry is newly returned to Hungary and it was exciting to see the passion of these growers. We found many truffles and received a elegant and delicious lunch with truffles in every course. A special sweet truffle I had never before encountered enhanced a lovely dessert. Kind and gracious people who cared tremendously about ensuring we had a great time. THEY SUCCEEDED.

Always looking for new experiences, we booked this adventure at triflafarm! This afternoon far exceeded our expectations! After a short introduction on the different truffles, the harvest etc. we left accompanied by ikon and Sheila to hunt truffles in this adorable plantation. As soon as we leave, we pull out our first truffle with our fantastic sophistry guide. And hop on by ourselves! It passed super fast and we were delighted to bring back our loot! After so many emotions the experience continued with a meal worthy of a star! Everything revolved around the truffle (even dessert!!) it was absolutely divine! All this accompanied by a very good white wine 😍 We started with lots of stars in our eyes and the certainty of going back one day and recommending this experience to everyone around us! Much happiness for the rest, thank you for sharing all this with us so kindly! The French who missed their train 🤣

Exceptional tour and Michelin-star caliber lunch! Ildi, Tomas, and Monika were phenomenal guides and helped us learn about truffles and truffle farming. We will be bringing friends back for more!

If you want to spend an original day, go to Triflafarm! Hunting truffles is amazing, humans and dogs are lovely, the food is really good, it was our best activity in Hungary!

We had the best time on the farm, the whole experience was 10/10. Thank you for your great hospitality, we hope to come back one day.

It was absolutely magical - from moment to step inside to the last moment, you can feel the energy and what this amazing group of people are doing. It is not just farm truffle but the whole concept of understanding nature and working with nature. I can't speak highly enough of this experience - it is a must. I can't wait to do this again. And i still miss the amazing dogs!!
