Il Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary, situato sul Lago Vittoria in Uganda, offre un'opportunità unica per osservare gli scimpanzé orfani e salvati in un ambiente naturale boscoso. Istituito nel 1998, il santuario si estende su 100 acri, con il 98% della superficie boschiva, fornendo un rifugio sicuro per oltre 50 scimpanzé

Itinerario
Inizia la giornata con un pick-up di prima mattina dal tuo hotel a Kampala o Entebbe. Viaggerai su strada fino al molo sul lungomare di Entebbe, situato vicino all'Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC). Il viaggio dura da 1 a 1,5 ore, a seconda del traffico.
Arrivo al molo e check-in per il trasferimento in barca a Ngamba Island. Dopo un breve briefing e il giubbotto di salvataggio, sali a bordo di un motoscafo o di una canoa tradizionale motorizzata (a seconda del tuo pacchetto). Il giro in barca dura circa 45 minuti, offrendo splendide viste sul Lago Vittoria, barche da pesca e piccole isole.
All’arrivo, sarete accolti dal personale del santuario. Una breve sessione di orientamento introduce la storia del santuario, i retroscena degli scimpanzé e la missione di conservazione del santuario.
Trasferimento di ritorno a Kampala o drop-off a Entebbe Dopo l'attracco a Entebbe, il tuo autista ti trasferirà di nuovo a Kampala o ti lascerà al tuo hotel o aeroporto di Entebbe.
