Con una navigazione di 2 ore, visitiamo il porto e ci dirigiamo verso il lago attraverso il canale occidentale. Fai attenzione al traghetto, considerato il più corto commerciale del mondo. Sotto l'acqua c'è un tunnel pedonale che collega i due per coloro che non vedono l'ora di prendere il volo. I nostri veri appassionati di vela apprezzeranno la vela nella baia di Humber e nel lago Ontario, noto per i suoi grandi venti e le onde leggere. Nella maggior parte delle sere feriali e serali, puoi divertirti a guardare le regate di vela di tutti i club locali. Mentre navighiamo a sud delle isole di Toronto e attraversiamo l'Eastern Gap, vediamo la comunità insulare di circa 260 case tutto l'anno. Assicurati di guardare le navi da crociera estive nel porto, navigando tra Quebec City, attraverso la St Lawrence Sea Way fino a Green Bay Wisconsin sul Lago Superiore. Yesterday my husband and I celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary here, and it was truly a wonderful evening. This was actually our second experience with Gone Sailing Adventures, and once again we absolutely loved it. The atmosphere on the sailboat is so peaceful and romantic, with beautiful views of Toronto and such a friendly, welcoming crew. It’s the perfect way to escape the busy routine, slow down, and simply enjoy quality time together. Thank you for creating such a memorable experience and beautiful memories for us. We’ll definitely be back and will happily recommend you to our friends. ❤️

I cannot recommend Gone Sailing Adventures highly enough. After a busy week in Toronto filled with meetings, events, and business activities, sailing with Captain Howie was the perfect way to unwind and experience the city from an entirely different perspective. From the moment we stepped aboard, we felt welcomed, safe, comfortable, and relaxed. Captain Howie is knowledgeable, professional, and clearly passionate about both sailing and sharing the stories of Toronto's waterfront. His commentary added depth to the experience, bringing the city's history, landmarks, and skyline to life. What stood out most was the atmosphere he created. The sail felt elegant yet comfortable, social without being crowded, and relaxing without ever being boring. The conversations with fellow passengers were wonderful, and there was something magical about watching the city skyline at sunset while feeling the breeze off the water. This was far more than a boat tour. It was an experience that allowed us to slow down, connect with nature, connect with people, and appreciate the beauty of Toronto from a completely different perspective. Boat was big and beautiful. Only my hubby and me on the boat with the captain and his helper. Spent a lovely 2 hours seeing Toronto from the water. Captain was professional and friendly. He can also do marriages and spread ashes with families. Recommend highly.
I sail, usually crew for others, and yet my wife has never been on a sail boat, so I took the opportunity to share the experience with her. The 2-hour sail was just the right amount of time to experience a gentle sail on Lake Ontario waters. A 38' Beneteau was perfect, with a competent captain, gentle winds, she and I had a great time. A definite must do when in Toronto.
Super relaxing tour, the wind was great to really sail, and our crew did everything to keep us safe, warm (blankets available) to enjoy every part of the tour. Prossecco available for sale made this a great evening.
