Per questa classe semi-privata di gelateria incontrerai esperti di gelato locale presso una delle più antiche Accademia del gelato italiana di Firenze (e la più antica in Italia), una struttura a conduzione familiare nota per il suo eccezionale gelato artigianale. Imparerai dai veri professionisti del settore! In questa lezione di un'ora imparerai tutti i segreti, tutti gli ingredienti e i loro dosaggi e ciò che rende il gelato diverso dal gelato. Quindi puoi mettere in pratica tutto ciò che hai imparato creando da zero il tuo sapore di gelato! Ma non finisce qui ... Mentre il tuo gelato gira via, vai dietro il bancone e impara come servire e raccogliere il gelato come un vero professionista! Non è più divertente di così. O almeno fino a quando non avrai assaggiato il tuo pratico lavoro e mangiato il tuo gelato fatto in casa! Questa è un'abilità che non dimenticherai e che sicuramente sfoggerai ai tuoi ospiti a casa!

It was very expensive for what it was. The kitchen was very small, we mostly just watched the guide make gelato. He was very friendly and nice, which made the experience positive but it wasn’t worth the price.

We’re glad, however, that you found the instructor friendly and welcoming. This is something we place a lot of importance on, as we believe a positive and engaging atmosphere is a key part of the experience. We also want to clarify for future guests that this is designed as an intimate, artisanal workshop held in a small traditional gelateria in Florence, where guests are shown authentic gelato-making techniques by a professional gelatiere. Because of the size and nature of these working kitchens, the format is necessarily a mix of demonstration and guided participation rather than a fully hands-on class for every step. This allows guests to observe professional methods up close and take part in key stages of the process, while maintaining the authenticity of a real production environment. We understand that expectations around level of participation and value can vary, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us continue to refine how we present the experience to future travelers.
Very informative and enjoyable experience! Chef Bondi's passion was clear from the beginning, explaining everything clearly, giving us a quick history and science lesson, and answered all our questions without fail. The gelato itself was some of the best we've ever had--even more enjoyable knowing we helped make it ourselves. We would love to do something like this again. Highly recommend for everyone to try!
We LOVE Livtours! This is our third experience with them and it's always been absolutely fantastic. Aldo who guided us through the gelato making process was an absolute delight - I can't speak highly enough about him or this experience. This experience was the highlight of our whole trip. We had the best time learning about the history of gelato & engaging in the making of the most delicious gelato. Vetulio is fabulous. So knowledgeable, such a character. My children absolutely adored him. Highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Florence.
Such a wonderful class and experience! We had so much fun learning about how to make gelato and it tasted amazing! Our 11 year old and 15 year old loved it! Great family experience! We loved every minute!!
I had a blast on the gelato-making tour! Not only was it tasty, but it was fun and informative. LivTours was great with communication and making sure I knew where to be and at one time. Our gelato specialist was renowned and taught the group so much about the gelato-making process. We made two types and they were both delicious. As a solo person, I enjoyed meeting others and being part of the group. Highly recommend!
We had the best time doing this! My husband and I, plus my father and 2 boys (6 and 7) were engaged and laughing the whole time. We learned a lot, but he kept the boys attention the whole time. It was very hands on. The gelato was delicious and we left all smiles! Definitely a highlight of our trip and I fully recommend it for families!
