Il National Coach Museum riunisce una collezione unica di pullman al mondo. Dal XVI al XIX secolo, qui si trovano alcune delle carrozze più antiche del mondo.
Classificato dall'Unesco come Patrimonio dell'Umanità. Il Monastero dos Jerónimos è una delle conquiste dell'architettura portoghese ed europea del suo tempo, affermando allo stesso tempo l'unicità della propria espressione artistica, l'architettura manuelina e la sua iscrizione sul cortile gotico internazionale. Questo grande edificio religioso è stato storicamente associato ai primi marinai come esploratori perché fu da qui che i navigatori portoghesi iniziarono il loro viaggio verso il nuovo mondo.
Con i suoi 52 metri di altezza, il Monumento alle Scoperte è un omaggio a tutti i portoghesi che hanno preso parte al grande viaggio in mare del XV e XVI secolo.
La pasticceria Belém è il luogo dove si possono gustare i dolci più famosi del paese. Inaugurato nel 1837, ricrea ogni giorno i dolci di Belém seguendo un'antica ricetta del Monastero dos Jerónimos. Una delle grandi meraviglie culinarie del Portogallo, il pastello spolverato di cannella di nata (crema pasticcera), con la sua crosta friabile e il cuore cremoso.

Half a day in the area of Bethlehem with a lot to appreciate and learn from the Alcides. Visit to the new museum of the Coches, priority entry to the pastels of Bethlehem and visit to the monastery of Jerónimos.
This is our First time to Portugal and Alcides was an Amazing tour guide. His knowledge of gothic and classical architecture, the names of the architects and the general knowledge of the city's history made the Belem experience one of the highlights of our Vacation. We also got VIP treatment at Pastéis de Belem and got to skip ahead in the line for pastries and coffee! The Coach Museum was also a unique experience and definitely worth the visit. I also rather enjoyed the trip back to the hotel through the narrow streets of Chiado. His maneuvering of the person passenger van was rather skillful and impressive! We are coming back through Lisbon at the end of our Vacation and may call Alcides to schedule a trip to Fatima and Nazaré. All in all a 5 star rating
Alcido our tour guide is fantastic. we board a tram so we truly experienced Lisbon! the cathedral is beautiful beyond words and he expertly described the details and history. The Belem pastry at Belem pasteria is excellent and part of our tour! Yummy. do not miss this! the Coach Museum with antigue carriage coaches is impressive - any car enthusiast and non-car enthusiast would love this museum.
The tour was wonderful, Portugal is beautiful, my guide Mr. Alcides flower was impeccable, very experienced and kind made our stay unforgettable. The highlight was the Pastel of Bethlehem in Bethlehem, there is no better in the world...
