The Meadows è un grande parco pubblico a Edimburgo, in Scozia, a sud del centro città.
Greyfriars Bobby era uno Skye Terrier che divenne noto a Edimburgo nel XIX secolo per aver trascorso 14 anni a proteggere la tomba del suo proprietario fino alla sua morte, avvenuta il 14 gennaio 1872. La storia continua ad essere ben nota in Scozia, attraverso numerosi libri e film.

- Il tuo Cognome è passato al Bus Manager prima del tuo tour, questo sarà richiesto all'arrivo sul bus, è possibile stampare questa e-mail puramente per le tue informazioni.
- Ti preghiamo di essere pronto a riscattare qualsiasi buono regalo che potresti aver utilizzato per il pagamento all'autobus nel giorno del tour.
- Se hai prenotato utilizzando un voucher Itison, potremmo chiedere di vedere il tuo voucher sul tuo telefono.
- I bambini devono avere almeno 5 anni per poter salire a bordo del Red Bus Bistro. I bambini dai 5 ai 9 anni pagano £ 20 sterline mentre i bambini dai 10 anni in su pagano come adulti paganti.
- Chiunque abbia meno di 14 anni deve essere accompagnato da un adulto
- Potrebbero esserci occasioni in cui il tour deve essere annullato senza preavviso, in caso di annullamento i clienti verranno completamente rimborsati o trasferiti a un'altra data del tour.

- La Red Bus Bistro's Bus è stata immatricolata nel 1966; è composto da Drivers Cab, ponte superiore, ponte inferiore e avrà sempre a bordo almeno 4 persone. L'autobus può ospitare 12 al piano di sotto e 28 al piano di sopra; purtroppo a causa dell'età e del design dell'autobus non possiamo ospitare passeggeri su sedia a rotelle. Il Red Bus Bistro può prenotare in anticipo i posti a sedere per il ponte inferiore per chi ha problemi di mobilità. Come sopra, gli avventori dovrebbero altrimenti essere preparati a condividere un tavolo, dove gli avventori preferirebbero essere seduti da soli, possiamo provare ad ospitarli in un tour più tranquillo ma non garantito,
- Non ci sono servizi igienici a bordo.
- Il tour durerà tra 70 e 90 minuti a seconda delle condizioni, durante i quali ai nostri clienti verrà servito un tè pomeridiano o un tour di gin. Per il noleggio privato tutte le richieste vengono prese in considerazione.

Don’t be misled by the pictures you see on the website for this tour as the food supplied is of a very poor standard, We were told to be at the departure point 10 minutes before the bus was due to leave, however, we were kept standing on the foot way for 40 minutes after the scheduled departure time of 3.00pm. The excuse given was that it was a very hot day, and things were running behind schedule. We were able to watch staff setting out the food, and a little dismayed that everything was handled with bare hands, no gloves or tongs used, which is unhygienic. Once we were on the bus, the food on the table was a major disappointment. Nothing like the website photo. The bread on the sandwiches was hard, as the food had obviously been loaded on for the earlier tour. They were filled with a tiny piece of cheese and some pickle, and poor quality gammon. The cakes were supplied by Mr Kipling…..yet this is supposed to be a Bistro! Nothing home made apart from the scones which arrived later and were passable. Coffee is instant, nothing else available. Prosecco served in a plastic tumbler which had seen much better days. We were not alone in feeling we had been totally ripped off, many people feeling the same. I emailed my disappointment to the company, but no reply…what a surprise! Would I recommend this tour to anyone, what do you think!

What a fun experience!! This was the perfect tour to start my Edinburgh trip off with. I was lucky enough to have been assigned the front seat at the top of the bus and I felt like I was being spoiled! Even though it was a little too warm for afternoon tea on my trip, it was still such a fun experience. Mark and Dani were just wonderful!!
Welcomed on board by friendly driver Mark, Ian and Danni were crew on board. All friendly, fun and welcoming. Lovely selection of savoury and sweet treats, and beautiful warm scones. Nothing too much trouble for Danni and Ian provided entertaining commentary. A lovely afternoon trip that is a little different to the normal bus tours. Reasonably priced and easy to book. Phone lines are always busy, which shows how popular this trip is, but email and you get a very quick response. Thank you Mark, Danni and Ian, we loved our time aboard today ❤️
Very much enjoyed our afternoon tea on the old red bus. Was nice to do something a bit different. Our driver Mark had to go on a mystery tour due to roads being closed with the Edinburgh Pride march taking place so was made up as he went along but we were happy with this as saw areas in Edinburgh we had never seen before so made a nice change. The food was ok....scones were lovely and warm but cakes were a bit dry and the coffee tasted awful but the fizz helped 😄 Mark, Steven and the young lady whose name I unfortunately do not know, were very welcoming, chatty and informative so made it a lovely experience. Would definitely recommend.

We also carry additional portions onboard, so had we been made aware during your visit that anything was not to your satisfaction, our crew would have been very happy to replace any items immediately. Our buses are deep cleaned regularly, including weekly cleaning schedules and cleaning before and after each tour to ensure a pleasant environment for our guests. Our afternoon tea includes a selection of savoury and sweet items, including two sandwich fillings, and we always ask guests at the time of booking about dietary requirements or preferences so we can accommodate requests where possible. We would have appreciated the opportunity to resolve these concerns while you were onboard, as we always want our guests to enjoy their experience. Relax with a cuppa & cake or two & learn about Edinburgh. Great to know I'm not the only one who thinks the Holyrood House is a car crash of a building.

I bought the experience using a Wowcher voucher so was great value for money . Around 2 hours of relaxing and enjoying a smashing afternoon tea served by really pleasant staff .We were very fortunate to have lovely weather on our tour which made all the sites much easier to see .. we had been on tour before one Christmas and it poured so the windows steamed up but the lights were just as lovely and the company on the bus fun .. most were having the gin tea pots as additional! A lovely afternoon and would recommend it.

Mark, Danni & Ian ( hope spelling is ok.. Well looked after, Ian was charming throughout our trip. Treats were plentiful too! We were seat 11 upstairs.....12 noon tour. I treated my cousin as it's her 75th birthday on Thursday. Great to see Edinburgh having a good view from upstairs. Time to stretch the legs stop and view Arthur's Seat for photo shoot. We loved it.....reccomend it too.
