We were able to have a wonderful experience with Francesca and her family. We took a short drive from the center to their lovely home. The family greeted us like we had been there before. Their daughter, Simona, was great and helped welcome us and explain how they were going to show us how help and what we were all going to eat. They started with some local and home made snacks and wine. So good. They did a great job in showing us how they prepare and cook these dishes. There was so much good food. This was more like a big Italian family Sunday lunch. And they made us feel just like family. Thank you Francesca, Luigi and Simona for welcoming us into your home. Thank you Cesarine for having caring and excellent hosts.
This was such a wonderful and wholesome experience for my husband and I. Francesca & Simona were so lovely and hospitable, showed us some great techniques that we can use back at home and to top it off, the food was incredible. Would highly recommend any couple or group to do this on their trip.
The best experience in town!! Perfect dining and tipic food of salento.. cesarine and Franchesca and all the family members are nice people that cook with fresh ingredients…
