Guide competenti ed esperte ti accompagnano su e giù per queste enormi dune mentre vivi il tour classico di Sandwich Harbour. Ammira le incredibili acque rosa della miniera di sale, osserva le migliaia di trampolieri nella zona umida di Ramsar, fenicotteri, pellicani e tutte le specie, osserva foche e sciacalli mentre guidi sulla spiaggia e poi sulle imponenti dune. Coaching e condivisione di esperienze con la Guida. Itinerario
Dopo l'incontro a Swakopmund andiamo a Walvisbay, dove incontriamo mezz'ora dopo i nostri ospiti Walvisbay. Quindi oltrepassa la miniera di sale sulla spiaggia, fino alla cintura delle dune nel porto di Sandwich, dove il mare incontra le dune, e su per le imponenti dune, per momenti davvero adrenalinici e panorami mozzafiato. Giù per molte ripide pareti scivolose e su per molte alte dune lungo un percorso tra le dune davvero emozionante. Segui la nostra guida con la tua auto e vieni aiutato in ogni situazione dalla nostra guida. Guidiamo sul percorso aiutandoci con le tecniche di guida, comunicando via Radio. Assicurati che la tua auto sia adeguatamente assicurata e che la compagnia di autonoleggio abbia il permesso di entrare a Sandwich. Dopo il giro sulle dune torniamo a Walvisbay per gonfiare le gomme e tornare al tuo alloggio. È un'esperienza fantastica. Si prega di notare che il prezzo qui è per 1 veicolo di cui 2 persone. Il tour inizia davvero alla Walvis Bay Esplanade. Qui osserviamo i fenicotteri e arieggiamo le gomme. Scambiamo esperienze e impariamo a conoscere i veicoli degli altri. Oltrepassiamo quindi i laghi salati rosa della miniera di sale sulla spiaggia e verso le imponenti dune. Facciamo lo stesso percorso del nostro viaggio sulle dune di Sandwich Harbour.

Driving between the dunes and the ocean to reach Sandwich Harbour is absolutely stunning, and the way back over the dunes is just as thrilling — pure adrenaline! Rian is a fantastic guide: fun, knowledgeable, and just the right amount of crazy behind the wheel, which made the whole trip even better. A true character and a great guy. I'd do it again without hesitation. Highly recommended!

The trip to Sandwich Harbour is only possible with a guide. So if you want to go there, you need a driver/guide. For us, it was Winton, and he did a great job - we had a lot of fun!

We booked the tour and a rental car to drive ourselves. The car was very good, strong engine, V6 petrol. The ride in the dunes was demanding, some experience advantageous. Winton as a guide (via radio) gave good instructions at the right time and always had us in mind. We felt in very good hands. Great lunch in the dunes overlooking the sea. Exceeded expectations and a highlight on our Namibia trip.

We did book a self driving tour to sandwich harbour and as our rental car company would not allow us to use our car we rented a car from Desert Dunes and Dust Tours and what should i say. It was a 10 stars experience and the views you are going to see is absolutely insane. Nothing what a picture could ever really capture. Your are standing on the top of a dune with your 4x4 which you drove yourself to one of the most beautiful places on earth, did see some whales along the way and had endless fun driving on the beach and in the dunes. For everyone who is worried about the self drive, do it!!! Our Guide Stephan has been phenomenal in giving us great advice for driving but also his knowledge about the area and wildlife is absolutely amazing and he has a fun personality. The tour is literally one of the best things i have ever made. Thanks a lot!!!
