Torres del Paine National Park
Un'escursione che unisce due dei tre accessi del Parco Nazionale Torres del Paine, rendendo possibile visitare una prospettiva poco nota e molto attraente per l'osservazione della fauna selvatica. Il suo ambiente paesaggistico è senza dubbio un luogo degno da visitare. Nel momento in cui entriamo nel parco attraverso la porta del Lago Sarmiento, inizieremo il nostro percorso con una leggera pendenza con una vista laterale dell'imponente Lago Sarmiento adiacente terre private, la solita area di caccia per il più grande predatore della regione, il Puma, specie che trova nelle Torres del Paine la sua principale fonte di cibo, il Guanaco. Dopo un'ora di cammino, raggiungeremo una grondaia dove è possibile osservare una serie di pitture rupestri con una data che supera i 6000 anni, un luogo frequentato da gruppi di cacciatori conosciuti come una delle prime popolazioni arrivate in Patagonia. In questo sito possiamo fotografare l'ambiente e imparare un po 'di più sulla storia locale. L'attività prosegue in direzione di Laguna Blanquillos, luogo di nidificazione e alimentazione di diverse specie di uccelli endemici della Patagonia come anatre, caiqueni e cigni dal collo nero sempre con vista frontale verso la catena montuosa della Paine. Dopo 3 ore di cammino arriveremo all'accesso principale del Parco Nazionale Torres del Paine: il portiere Laguna Amarga. Dopo una sosta per l'uso dei servizi torneremo al veicolo per andare in una zona poco conosciuta dove le acque lattiginose del fiume Paine provenienti dal ghiacciaio Dickson aumentano il suo flusso con grande concentrazione di minerali e sedimenti, ci riferiamo alla cascata Paine . In questo luogo avremo tempo libero per goderci il nostro pranzo al sacco con una vista frontale verso le torri di granito tra i cespugli di Ñirre. Il viaggio continua verso Cañadón Macho, un'area in cui è possibile osservare grandi gruppi di guanacos che vivono con specie come Ñandú, Grey Fox, Condor, Black Eagle, tra gli altri.

A perfect day
This was my favorite experience of my trip! I was lucky enough to have the other party in my group cancel so I got a private tour with Paz! The hike itself was beautiful and not very difficult. Dress for all kinds of weather because the temperature changed throughout the day several times. I am a guide in the United States and being able to share experiences with Paz was such a unique experience. She is one of a kind and you can tell how much she loves Patagonia. I learned so much about the area, the plants and the wildlife and will truly never forget this experience.

Great guides
The hike was just what we wanted. We were able to see guanaco and condors, as well as beautiful scenery. The guides were very knowledgeable. If I had one recommendation , it would be to slow down a little bit when you have senior citizens.

An amazing 8km trek with stunning views
A very well coordinated trip organised using What’s App to prepare pickup etc. A beautiful walk with stunning views, but we were lucky with a bright sunny day. Our guide Sofia was excellent and made the short trek a memorable experience. Even got to see a puma!

Amazing Porteria Sarmiento Tour
We did the Porteria Sarmiento tour with Renata and the driver Andres. They made the day so much fun and provided great energy. Renata was smart, funny and knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the area. 10/10 would love to have them guide us throughout Torres del Paine again!

So much to see
A gentle hike, with expansive views, to see ancient petroglyphs. The wildlife viewing turned this trip into an amazing adventure. Both our guide and driver had “eagle eyes” to spot condors, guanaco, rheas, fox. and a bunch of other birds whose names I will never remember. A truly satisfying day.
