Hai mai sognato di trascorrere un momento indimenticabile con gli husky circondati da una natura incredibile? In questa escursione portiamo alcuni cani a fare una passeggiata (o ti porta lui?) in campagna, in riva al mare, circondati dalla vista sulle montagne, su nella nostra foresta locale. (Non vedremo gli orsi polari ma potremmo vedere cavalli e pecore.) Dopo la passeggiata trascorreremo la seconda parte della visita con tutti i cani a casa, dove potrete scattare foto, coccolare i cani e parlare di più delle cose che i cani fanno tutto l'anno.

Incredible experience as an honored guest in a large family of huskies, including an invigorating walk/run in beautiful countryside, each with our own Husky-for-a-Day. More than a glimpse into the lives of these amazing canines and their pet parents. Extraordinary dog fix for any dog lover.
This is one of the highlights of our family tour around (and beyond) the Icelandic ring road. We loved getting to meet the very well-cared-for dogs and the chance to take a hike with them and see a bit of nature!
This is not the time of year for hiking, because normally we would be covered in snow, but it is good to be able to offer this as an option for dog sledding.
This was a highlight of our trip to Iceland. We loved meeting the owner, Gunni, his wife, Maria, and all 28 dogs! Their passion for the animals is exceptional. We got to see a lot of the Iceland countryside during our dog walk; it was lovely. Private tour was more expensive but well worth it.
I'm glad you enjoyed the visit. Yes, a private visit is more expensive, but in addition to having the stay just for your group, we try to be flexible with the time, both when the visit is and also there is no stress about it even if it stretches.. The main thing is to have fun, with the dogs.
An amazing, unique experience which received top marks from my teen (“top tier”). Maria and Gunni’s pack is special and it was so much fun to interact with them, as well as to see them interact with each other. We also got to take them on a hike through a beautiful trail, which overlooked the bay in some parts. Had a blast and met some lovely people - one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you!

Gunni, the vendor, met us at the cruise pier with a husky. It was love at first sight. We were driven to his home and surrounded by many friendly huskies once the fence was closed behind us. Our group of 9, 5 kids and 4 adults couldn't stop smiling and petting the dogs. After the petting session, we were harnessed and teamed up with a husky so they could take us for a walk. 😁 We strolled through the dirt trail and saw some beautiful scenery without the dogs losing control of us. We learned how the dogs are cared for and saw the effort involved in keeping them happy and healthy. We saw the puppies but they were too small to be handled by so many strangers. We had a great time; if you like dogs, this is a tour not to miss.
We had a wonderful morning together and it was nice to see how well all the kids did handling the dogs. This is one of the nice thing about my visits, (in my opinion) when you meet strangers, but end up saying goodby to new friends. You and your husband are always welcome back, Gunni.
What an amazing experience! The huskies are more loved and cared for than any dogs I’ve met. The tour guide was so kind and sweet. We loved our tour!!

An absolute must to book. The home is in the most beautiful location, the dogs just adorable & so content in their environment. The trip was so welcoming and personal. Gunnar was the perfect host, so informative and made our time there an amazing experience. The guy who collected us from our pick up point was so friendly and even recognised us a couple of days later in the town. Thank you (plus all your 21 huskies) for a memorable day. Paula & Andrew

This tour is worth all the hype I can give it. Insanely good guides and owners, could not recommend more. Gunni invited us into his home for coffee after the tour and we ended up chatting for ages about shared love of animals, middle earth, and Norse mythology. The dogs were beautiful and extremely friendly. Would come back to the north of Iceland for this experience alone. Keen to be back for the sledding!
First, sorry for this late reply. Sometimes you connect right away and it's just like having an old friend visiting, I had a great time myself. Its a long trip from Australia but you´re welcome back any time.
Absolutely fabulous experience. This was the best excursion of our Iceland cruise. The host was very interesting and provided hot coffee and tour of his home and kennel after our hike with the huskies. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Tour! Private and very personalized. The dogs were adorable. Excellent guide and interaction with owner, who invited us into his home, was a plus. Also enjoyed the tour of the neaby little church. Highly recommended.
