Escursione sul circuito di Manaslu

Descrizione

I can start the review by saying that if you're still deciding on weather to go with magical nepal, you can stop over thinking and just GO book with them. We honestly had such a positive experience throughout the trek. If you're trekking solo, they're the only company that i've seen which allow you to see who's going on a trek and book with them. We we're a group of 6, two were my friends and 3 were other solo trekkers. It's safe to say that we all clicked and bonded within a few days which made the trek even more magical. Our guide Sajan and assistant guide Subash were both informative, kind, fun, and friendly. They were always checking up on us and made sure we didnt have any issues throughout the trip. They were also very flexible with the two of us in the group that wanted to go faster than the rest of the group. Also a huge shout out to our porters - Sagar, Anil and Rajan. We could not have completed this trek without them. With regards to accommodation, be prepared for basic amenities. I want to say tho, we always felt like we had the best rooms throughout the trek. Sajan always phoned the tea houses ahead and made sure we had the better rooms. The food was generally good throughout the trek and we had an insane amount of masala chai throughout In summary, Book with them! You'll be well taken care of.
Jay Tamang was my guide, and I had the best time possible. Not only did he know the ins and outs of the trail, but he also provided the warmest hospitality and facts about the places/mountains that we saw. He was constantly asking me if I was doing okay and needed to rest/eat. He even brought varieties of snacks and fruits to be enjoyed at the trail or at the teahouses! With it being the offseason for the trek, we rarely encountered other individuals in the trek, but it never felt like that because Jay would always try to have conversations. I would highly recommend Jay to be your guide!
I cannot recommend Bishal highly enough. From the moment I met him in the hotel lobby the evening before our trek began, I knew we were in good hands. He was exceptionally thorough in preparing us for the journey ahead, carefully explaining the equipment we would need, what to expect on the trail, and answering every question with patience and clarity. What makes Bishal exceptional is not only his professionalism and experience, but also his ability to connect with people. He is open, curious, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in those around him. Throughout the trek, our group included people with different abilities, walking speeds, and expectations. Bishal managed this effortlessly. Nobody ever felt rushed, left behind, or made to feel inadequate. Every day he briefed us on the following day’s route and conditions, ensuring everyone felt prepared and confident. One of the things I appreciated most was the pace he set. Too often, hiking can become focused on reaching the next destination. With Bishal, the journey itself was just as important as the destination. We stopped at beautiful viewpoints, took time to rest, enjoy snacks, and appreciate our surroundings. Lunch was always a proper break, and there was time to interact with local people and enjoy the villages. Every day flowed naturally and seemed perfectly organized without ever feeling rigid. His ability to adapt to changing conditions was particularly impressive. On one day, heavy snow was expected on a section of the route. Rather than following the itinerary blindly, Bishal carefully assessed the conditions and recommended an alternative. One of the stronger trekkers continued on a higher route with him, while I chose a different excursion to a nearby lake accompanied by another member of the team. That decision led to one of the most memorable experiences of my trip, including an unexpected visit to a local temple where I was able to observe prayers. Later that day, we all reunited at the tea house. Bishal’s flexibility allowed each person to have the best possible experience. His attention to individual needs was equally remarkable. Early in the trek, I mentioned that I would prefer a private room if possible. From that moment onward, he consistently planned ahead with the tea houses to arrange one whenever accommodation allowed. In remote mountain lodges this is not always possible, but the fact that he remembered and made the effort throughout the trek demonstrated how attentive he was to each person’s comfort and well-being. Another quality that stood out was the respect he had earned throughout the region. Wherever we stopped, he would engage naturally with tea house owners, local villagers, Sherpas, and other guides. It was clear that many people already knew him, and when they did not, his warmth and openness quickly created a connection. You could see how much people genuinely liked and respected him. Because of those relationships, we always felt welcomed wherever we went. We were not simply passing through as tourists; we felt connected to the communities we encountered along the way. Perhaps the greatest gift Bishal gave us was a sense of trust. As this was my first visit to Nepal, everything was new to me. Yet I always felt completely safe. His knowledge of the trails, weather, terrain, and local conditions was extraordinary. He always explained what lay ahead, whether a section would be steep, easy, challenging, or long, allowing us to prepare both physically and mentally. Even when adjustments needed to be made behind the scenes, he handled them calmly and confidently. Knowing that he had everything under control allowed me to fully relax and enjoy the experience. What impressed me even more was that his support did not end when the trek finished. After returning to Kathmandu, I still had some time before my flight home and wanted to do some shopping. Having never been to Nepal before, I had little idea where to go, what prices were reasonable, or how to judge quality. Despite having just spent nearly two weeks away from home leading our trek, Bishal generously took time out of his own schedule to help me. He met me in Kathmandu, took me around the city on his motorbike, showed me the best places to shop, advised me on quality and pricing, and helped negotiate. This was completely beyond what anyone would expect from a guide, and I appreciated it enormously. I would also like to mention the excellent quality of the mountain duffel bags provided by the company. We were given the option to keep them afterwards, which I gladly did. Mine has become a wonderful reminder of an unforgettable journey. Looking back, what I remember most is not only the spectacular landscapes but also the people who made the experience so special. Bishal’s professionalism, judgment, generosity, positivity, and genuine care for those around him set him apart. If I return to Nepal, I would choose Bishal as my guide again without a moment’s hesitation.
Mr. Pramod is frequently recognized for his "good vibes" and constant positivity, which is a significant asset during the more grueling sections of the Manaslu Circuit. Professionalism & Vibe: We trekkers describe him as always exceptionally professional. He is known for taking care of all logistics—For example, from selecting the best teahouses to ensuring meals are prepared to our satisfaction—allowing us to focus entirely on the trek. Safety & Care: He is noted for his attentiveness to his clients' well-being, particularly regarding health and safety in high-altitude environments like the Larkya La Pass. Expertise: Having a guide who knows the local culture is vital; the upper regions of Manaslu are rich in Tibetan Buddhist culture, and a guide like Pramod helps bridge the gap with local communities effortlessly, enriching our journey with deep cultural insights
If you are looking for an incredible adventure, the Manaslu Circuit with Magical Nepal is an absolute must-do! This trek is full of unpredictable moments, which is exactly what makes the whole experience so fun and truly worth living. What made our journey genuinely special was our amazing guide, Paramod. Paramod’s knowledge of the region's culture and religion is exceptional. Whether explaining the nuances of Buddhism and Hinduism or sharing fascinating local insights, he kept us captivated. He taught us all about Yarsagumba (the Himalayan caterpillar fungus), which was really interesting. He even carried extra fruit with him just so we could enjoy it after dinner. It’s these small, thoughtful gestures that show how much he truly cares about his guests. His English is excellent, making conversations effortless and engaging throughout the entire trek. Thanks a lot to Magical Nepal, Paramod and Steven for making this trip unforgettable.
I had a blast trekking the Manaslu circuit with magical Nepal. The trek was very professionally organized, and was made particularly unforgettable by our guide, Pemba, who would go out of his way to make you feel as comfortable as possible during the trek. Highly, highly recommended!
This was literally the best experience in my life so far. There are no words to describe the outstanding beauty of Manaslu Circuit. Especially Pemba and Kailas made our time here so special. They are incredibly professional, super friendly and kind, caring - and not to forget super funny. Having the opportunity to do the trek with them made the whole experience even more beautiful and wholesome. They were always in a good mood and as excited as we were, which made every day even more memorable. We already can’t wait to go on the next adventure with them! Also the organisation was perfect as well, everything was communicated clearly and we always had really nice rooms in the teahouses. Thank you so much and see you next time! Namaste.
We recently completed the Manaslu Circuit Trek with Magical Nepal and couldn't recommend them highly enough. From our very first enquiry, communication was excellent. The team made the entire process easy to organise, answered questions promptly, and provided clear information throughout. We particularly appreciated receiving our detailed itinerary the day before departure, which helped us feel prepared and excited for the adventure ahead. The logistics were seamless from start to finish. Airport pick-up and drop-off were well organised, the office was easy to access, and whenever anything arose during the trek, the team acted quickly and efficiently to ensure everything ran smoothly. A special mention must go to our guide, Dawa, who was truly outstanding. He was with us every step of the way and consistently went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Dawa was kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and highly professional. His extensive understanding of Tibetan culture, the Himalayas, and the local communities added so much depth to the trek and made the experience far more meaningful. Most importantly, Dawa always prioritised our safety and wellbeing. He regularly checked in on us, offered encouragement during the more challenging sections, and ensured we felt supported throughout the journey. His positive attitude, patience, and genuine care for his clients made a lasting impression on us. The Manaslu Circuit is an incredible trek, and Magical Nepal played a huge role in making it such a positive experience. We are extremely grateful to the entire team and especially to Dawa for helping create memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you, Magical Nepal—we would happily trek with you again.
I booked the Manaslu Circuit Trek with Magical Nepal and it was somehow the best crazy decision I’ve made. Magical Nepal were very helpful and responsive through their WhatsApp channel and had the most information about the trip through their YouTube videos. The trek was extremely well organized. Our whole group of 6 met prior to the trek at the Magical Nepal office, and was briefed on the entire trek. The team: Sajan Tamang, the main guide, Subash Tamang, the assistant guide, and the amazing team of porters, Anil, Rajan and Sagar, made the trip super fun! Sajan’s and Subash’s energy, humor and care made me feel extremely safe. When I got sick, they made sure I was well taken care of. [Protip: ask Sajan about the pancakes at Dharmasala ;) and give your camera to Subash :)] There’s a lot of food options along the trek, apart from dhal bhat (dhal bhat power 24/7 💪🏻). There are cold/hot showers available at majority of tea houses, but I would stick to wet wipes as you could catch a fever [speaking from experience:/] I would highly recommend and appreciate hikers to carry their trash with them to prevent this beautiful place from getting polluted. I would never second guess booking another trek with Magical Nepal and with Sajan being the guide. I’ve met the most incredible trekking buddies and had an amazing experience. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this most special experience :))
I had an amazing time trekking the Manaslu Circuit with Magical Nepal. From the very start it was a positive experience - I chose to book with Magic Nepal because, as a solo traveller, it was reassuring being able to see who else would be in my trek group. Also, with the uncertainty of world events affecting flights at the time, I appreciated the flexible cancellation policy. I ended up in a group of fantastic people (a mix of other solo travellers and a pre-existing group), and within a couple of days it felt like we'd known each other for years! Our guide Sajan and assistant guide Subash were incredibly kind, informative, fun and friendly. They were always checking that we were feeling ok and coping with the altitude and I felt like we were in very safe hands. They were also considerate of the varying paces within the group, and made sure that all of the group members different walking speeds were accommodated. Our porters Sagar, Anil and Rajan were always friendly and provided extra moral support on the difficult days! The Manaslu Circuit was stunning with a variety of landscapes, terrain and cultures. The itinerary allowed plenty of time for proper acclimatisation, with room for flexibility. The highlight was the spectacular Larke Pass - a tough but very rewarding day. Anyone with a decent level of fitness should be able to complete the Manaslu Circuit, as long as you're up for the occassional challenging day. Accommodations can be basic (be prepared for days without wifi, electricity or a hot shower), but there will always be a warm drink and good company at the end of the day! Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to book with Megical Nepal again - the entire experience was smooth, well-organised and beautiful from start to finish. Thank you!
