Informazioni importanti

Kat was great! She war right on time and we were on the small hike in no time. She shared lots of information on the hike then the tide pools were in front of us in no time. There was plenty of time to snorkel and explore before returning back to the car. We had a great time!
Kat took us to the location. She was on time, friendly, easy going and non- judgmental. Just an FYI, the tide can alter the trip, so you may have to re-schedule if it’s high tide. I was able to do some snorkeling, but the tide was unpredictable that day. She made every attempt to help and even insisted we could come back the next day. She took us to other tidepool areas, and gave us some history and facts on the plants we saw. The area is beautiful and majestic. Make sure you bring good shoes as you will climb lava rock. My wife is really skittish and she still made it. Just be prepared. The hike is not steep down to the tide.
It’s a beautiful spot but it’s private property and you’re definitely not supposed to be here - I went back to the car to grab something and there were some locals by there. When they heard I was part of a paying tour group, they got very upset and said that this is private property. I apologized and was uncomfortable and went back to the water; when we got back there were two notes on our car - one I attached a picture of, the other I lost but it said that this is private property and not to trespass. I asked Josh about this and he told me most of the hike is on public property, but I looked up property records and this is not true, the whole walk is private property, although I guess the pools themselves are public, being below the high tide line? Anyway, Lovely spot but I ended up feeling very uncomfortable about the whole thing; I don’t want to trespass on private property or upset the local residents.
The information in this review in inaccurate. To access the coastline, we must pass through private property briefly, which we have permission to do. This is the only time a local has gotten upset in my 4 years of doing this experience. The notes on the cars were a mistake, as we have permission to pass through the private property.
Super thanks KAT. We were unlucky because it was not a good day at sea so she proposed alternatives. That was amazing!!!
Such a fun experience! It was really cool being in a secluded area in the ocean with the waves crashing all around you! I would caution, it’s a little bit of a steep climb there and back. So if you’re traveling with someone elder, this may not be the place for them. My grandma did it, but she’s not your normal, elderly woman! 🤣 our guide Kat was amazing!
An amazing adventure that isn’t too far from the beaten path. Beautiful spot with beautiful things to see.
We had a great time with our tour guide Kat, she was very kind and knowledgeable about the local area. The small hike was fun and engaging (especially the shy plant that retracts its leaves upon touch). The tide pool had several small fish and we were lucky to see a beautiful eel twice! This was a nice way to snorkel and experience something unique without the crowds.
Amazing little secret hike with awesome Tide pools perfect for swimming and seeing lots of wildlife, our guide Kat was extremely knowledgeable on local flora and fauna and super friendly . 10/10 - highly recommended
The hike to the tide pool is not difficult but traversing the lave rocks to get to the beach requires focus and balance. Our guide, Kat, assisted me on navigating where to step. She was knowledgeable about the area, tide pools and ecosystem. This was a very fun excursion! She also took great photos of me and my son.
Tide pool was cool, but there was only 1. Guide hardly talked to us. Thought we were going to get info on the tide pools and sealife. Guide seemed checked out.
