My mom and I had been wanting to do this trek for the past few years but had difficulty finding the right tour operator. When we found EchoRails, we were thrilled with the ability to personalize the tour and their willingness to accommodate our schedule. Communication in advance of the tour was incredibly helpful - they had everything organized and made accessing the information we needed a seamless process. By far the highlight of the trip was our guide, Mel. She was so knowledgeable, kind, and competent. Genuinely one of the best guides we have ever had, and both my mom and I travel frequently. Mel exceeded every expectation. She made our treks so much fun. Since my mother is 71, we were both a bit nervous about some of the trails, but Mel gave my mom the confidence she needed to successfully complete the hikes. She even provided hiking poles from her own collection! She was absolutely fantastic and we are so grateful for her efforts. We look forward to returning someday!

The tour of the Arno was amazing!! We hiked about 6 miles back into the area around Mount Titus. Arno knew were are older so he carefully adapted the hike to ensure we could complete the hike up the mountain, to the farm restaurant for lunch, and back down to catch the bus/train. All of the travel accommodations to the trailhead were managed and arranged ahead of time and there were no wasted minutes waiting for transfers. Arno was so impressive as a guide - patient, knowledgeable and interested in us as people. We felt that we made a new friend along the way. It was my husband’s favorite part of our trip to Switzerland. We highly recommend this individual tour.

My husband and I had such a great trip. Walter, our tour guide was incredible! His knowledge, patience and humor made our trip even more enjoyable. Walter made sure the hikes were suited best for our group. We could not have asked for a better guide.

We took this tour from Lucerne, and hiked out of Engelberg. Our guide, Arno, was wonderful. He met us at our Airbnb, and walked with us to the train station. We started our hike through a beautiful valley, and mostly had the trail to ourselves. It had amazing views as we climbed to the top of fuhrenalp. The view was spectacular, and Arno was great with letting us dictate the pace of the climb. We really enjoyed the route, and the views. When we reached the top, we enjoyed a light snack and a drink, before descending back down via the elevator. Arno was an amazing guide and made the trip that much more enjoyable. Highly recommend the trip!

Our guide, Arno, was awesome! His background in history and education helps make him so great at leading an experience like this. Our kids had a great time with him as well. 100% you should book this tour and ask for him as your guide!!

My experience with Echo Trails was nothing less than perfect. My first communication was responded to by one of the company leaders who assisted me in reserving two different days of hiking and assisted me in paying for the reservation. Two days prior to the hikes the guide reached out via What's App providing their contact info and advising me that they would meet us at the Lucern train station at 7 AM. On the Heart of The Alps hike our guide was Amalia Macula. She met us and we boarded the first of the two trains to reach our destination. She was joined by a new guide for the company who was observing her for the day. His name was Arno Claerhout. Both were wonderful young people and are excellent guides. The hike was not easy and we worked up quite a sweat. We are experienced hikers and this was just what we were looking for. The views of the Alpine meadows and the snow and the glacier on the mountain tops were spectacular. We had a wonderful lunch in the rest at the top. We hosted Amalia and Arno for lunch and enjoyed our time with them very much. On the way down we walked to the 12th century monastery where they have a cheese shop for cheese made by the Monks. A very nice treat. Echo Trails is the real deal. Book with them for an adventure you will talk about for years.

Absolutely loved doing the hike with Sabrina!! She was so warm, helpful and friendly!! She was patient and accommodating of our hiking abilities. She gave us a lot of information about the history of the place around. We had a great time learning about Switzerland and felt safe hiking with her. Totally recommend guide Sabrina for hikes in and around Switzerland:) thank you Sabrina!! We loved hiking with you. Hopefully we can do more in the future

This was absolutely one of our favorite tours we’ve ever done! Livia was an EXCELLENT hiking guide! She made it her goal to ask us questions to get to know us and make the hike personalized for us! We took the longer route and it was absolutely beautiful and such a fulfilling & relaxing day! We only had 2 full days in Lucerne and this was the PERFECT way to spend one of them! If we ever get to come back we would do it again and request Livia! Do this hike! You won’t regret it!
